Chapter 30 - Encounter!

Evangeline's POV:

I was working at my restaurant, serving the customers. I looked at the wall clock. It was already 8 pm.

Elliot didn’t come today. He called me once in the morning but after that I didn’t hear from him. I tried calling him twice, but his number was unreachable.

After paying Liam and Gemma, I waited for some time in the restaurant for Liam. I thought he would come now at least.

I even called him once, but still his number came unreachable. Who knew what happened to him. Elliot always told me he would take me home.

He might get stuck in a situation.

Sighing, I locked my restaurant and came to the street. As I started walking, it felt a bit alone. It was night and this neighborhood was quieter than any busy city street.
