THORNE'S POV Duncan and I were not ready to give up yet but so we're the rogue's and I was already begining to lose my strength here. If I was to be honest, I would say I wasn't ready to give up, Duncan on the other hand had nothing doing. He sat at one of the dusty tables, crossing his legs over like a lady in training. “I need your help here.” I gritted at him. I couldn't stall them for too long and this was kind of like the eleventh time I was asking him for help. Duncan took one good glance at me, then humphed. “You're good with that thing, besides you wouldn't expect me to get myself tired by doing all of that work, you're the one with the lesser rank here.” He shrugged and went on with what he was doing and just to be clear, he was doing nothing. “Then you wouldn't blame me if the rogues suddenly burst out the door and come tearing at us.” I said. “Oh don't you dare let go of that door. You would regret it.” He stood up pointing a finger at me.
LYRA'S POV “You're not seriously saying that Alpha Duncan got kidnapped. I mean thast just impossible.” Jonas have me a slight chuckle. We met at the agreed destination just three hours later. It had taken an extra thirty minutes from me trying to get things ready and convincing Ryan that I would be back home before he knew it. For all it was worth, I needed to keep him at the packhouse for his own safety. As soon as we were able to convince Jonas, Duncan's Beta, we would meet with Elyan and Regent Peter at the border between Nightshade and BloodMoon. That place had been chosen because it happened to be much closer to the rogue house. Also we needed to be discreet and keep ourselves safe, it was why I had Lira here with me. “Of course I didn't say that. He willingly walked into the enemy's trap.” I corrected. I would also not believe me if I were him, that part of the story just seemed unexplainable and also unfortunate that it was the rightful pillar of the sto
LYRA'S POV This had to be a joke but it didn't look like it was, Peter wasn't laughing and neither was Lira. It did feel good to have my little boy back but not at this cost. I didn't know what Thorne was thinking when he left last night and to think that Duncan also had the same idea was astonishing. I didn't really see anything to it when Thorne left yesterday, how could I have known that he planned to go to the rogue pack. It was stupid and if he had mentioned anything about it to me, I would have frowned against it. It was a bad idea going into the rogue pack and even worse going in just threes. "What do we do now?" I let out in a sigh. We had to do something. We couldn't leave them behind. I'm sure Thorne could hold his own against them for a while but it wouldn't be for long. "I'm glad you asked, I've grown tired of standing here and watching you brood." His words sounded neutral aimed at having no effect in particular. "You have to round up your pack's
LIRA'S POV Okay, maybe it was a really bad idea to let me take this job of saving a kid. I pretty sure I would do better staying behind. I squeezed myself into the doorway that led into the passageway, and trust me, doing this with Ryan wasn't easy. "Ahh." He screamed backing away as the darkness engulfed us. "What is it?" I asked. I could guess why he was scared but we didn't have time . "I'm not coming in here." He mumbled. I let out a sigh, shaking my head. He was technically already in here and I wouldn't let him go back in. "Why not?" I asked him,I was trying my best to not tell out him and explain how much trouble we were currently in. "It's dark and the dark is where the monsters lie." He said matter if factly. "Who the hell told you that?" I asked him surprising myself by being curious. Lyra definitely didn't seem like one to make up stories like that. So it had to be Tank. "Was it Tank?" He nodded. Yeah,I definitely got
THORNE'S POV After about twenty minutes of waiting and only coming upstairs to find out that the only reason they were taking so long was because Ryan refused to leave with any of them and to think I had thought about this earlier but Duncan didn't listen because if the arse hole he was. To be fair, it wasn't easy waiting all alone, I couldn't find anything doing and I couldn't be more restless. I later found myself opening the barricaded doors and waltzing inside the passageway and thank goddess for psychic powers m, I was able to find my way up here easily. I totally ignored Duncan and focused all of my attention on Ryan. "Come on boy." I called to him and he jumped straight into my arms. "I thought my mummy was coming." He snuggled against my shoulder as I held him. "You would see her at home okay. let's go." I whispered back to him. "We need to be out of here real quick. I think Patrick's coming back." Lira said still in the doorway.
SOPHIA'S POV It was ironic, staring at the tv at exactly twelve am in the middle of the night. Watching the news about the alleged dissapearance of the Nightshade pack's Luna almost made me laugh. I mean I was sitting right here, not at a risk of being murdered or something. Half the entire time, the news focused only on Duncan and his absence, not that I thought they cared enough for them to dedicate the whole of the time to me. Behind me, I had a set of footsteps clanking down the stairs. I turned around even though still seated on the chair to take a good look. "What are you doing up, particularly still here?" Patrick asked. Two different questions in the same sentence. "Turns out I'm here to stay." I said to him relaxing in my seat. He tilted his head at me, clearly he didn't understand what I meant by that and was also impatient enough to figure it out by himself. "Duncan already knows." I said. "He knows that I'm involved with you all
