47.  The Devil Always Find Its Way

Nicklaus laid facing the other side and Tiana wondered if he was angry with her. "Are you angry with me?" she asked.

"Why would I be?"

"I don't know" she whispered. Nicklaus turned around facing her.

"I am not angry." He said his voice soft. If he wasn't angry, there was something else he wasn't telling her.

"Will you hold me then while we rest?"

Without waiting Nicklaus drew her into his arms and after a while, he fell asleep. Tiana was very tired as well after being awake the whole night but she didn't want to sleep since Nicklaus would leave after they woke up, she wanted to be awake and savor the feel of being in his arms. But she couldn't.
