The foyer was a bit dark, and the only light came from the soft glow of the sconces Mrs. Harlan always left on.

The holiday decorations were now up, strings of warm white lights twinkled along the staircase banister, wrapping the railing in a gentle glow.

It wasn’t over-the-top opulence; it was tasteful, cozy.

The kind of Christmas decorating that made a big house feel like a home.

I paused at the bottom of the stairs, taking it in. The scent of pine lingered in the air, mixed with whatever cinnamon candle Mrs. Harlan had burning somewhere. For a moment, the ache in my chest eased.

It felt… safe.

I wandered toward the kitchen, stomach rumbling faintly. That’s when I saw it on the dining table, a neat, black box tied with a thin silver ribbon and a small envelope tucked under the bow.

Oh… the package.

I approached it slowly, fingers brushing the ribbon. The box was heavier than I expected, the paper thick and luxurious.

I turned the box around but there wasn’t any store l

  • Daddies Taste Better    CHAPTER 75: I Thought As Much

My eyes slid away, focusing on the countertop, on the faint reflection of the overhead light in the marble. My throat tightened.“I need time,” I whispered. His thumb stilled on my skin. Then it tightened. The pressure increased until it was bordered on pain, fingers digging into my jaw just enough to force my face back toward his. I whimpered, the sound small and involuntary, a mix of surprise and discomfort that made my eyes water. He looked at me for a long moment, then the corner of his mouth lifted.“I thought as much,” he said quietly. He leaned in and pressed a soft and tender kiss to my forehead, but lingering a second too long before releasing me completely, hand dropping away and without another word, he turned and left the kitchen.I stood there, frozen, fingers coming up to touch my jaw where his grip had been. It didn’t hurt anymore, just a faint throb, but the memory of it stayed. My heart was pounding, a confusing rush of emotions swirling in my chest… guilt, relief,

THEA -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ- I didn’t know how to react as Noah handed me a gift out of nowhere. I mean… how on earth was I supposed to react to that anyway?! I was in the kitchen, pouring coffee, trying to act normal and pretend like the house wasn’t a minefield and everything wasn’t teetering on the edge of an explosion. When Noah walked in, casual as ever in sweatpants, and hoodie, his hair still damp from a shower. He stopped at the island, leaning against it, and slid a flat, neatly wrapped box across the marble toward me. “For you,” he told me, voice light. “Early Christmas present.” While I stared at the box like it might actually fucking bite me. I hadn’t gotten him anything. I hadn’t even thought about Christmas presents. Because we were supposed to be on a break. Because, more importantly… I’d been falling in love with his father. Because everything was a fucking mess! “Open it,” he said, smiling that easy, boyish smile that used to make my stomach flip. Now it just

I stood abruptly and she stirred when I moved, murmuring something incoherent. I looked down at her—beautiful in her ruin, hair tangled across the pillow, lips swollen and felt nothing. Just the hollow satisfaction of a need met. I pulled my wallet from my jacket on the chair, took out a thick stack of hundreds, more than enough for a cab, a Plan B, whatever spa treatment she wanted to soothe the bruises and left it on the nightstand without a note. She’d understand. I washed up in the en-suite bathroom: cold water on my face, rinsed the taste of smoke and her from my mouth, straightened my shirt and suit. The mirror showed a man who looked perfectly composed, hair neat, eyes sharp, no sign of the violence I’d just unleashed except the faint red scratches on my neck where her nails had dug in. By the time I stepped out of the room, she was still asleep. I didn’t look back. The elevator took me down to the lobby in silence. My driver was waiting curbside in the black G

I took her ass next, no prep beyond spit and force. She howled, fists clenching in the cuffs, but pushed back, took it, broke around me again.Hours blurred.I used everything—flogger on her back until it was striped red, clamps on nipples and clit with weights that swung with every thrust, ice from the bucket trailed over burning skin then hot wax dripped in its place. I choked her until she saw stars, face-fucked her until she gagged and drooled and cried. She came so many times she lost count—sobbing, whimpering, eventually just silent convulsions and tears.I fisted a brutal handful of her dark hair and dragged her up to her knees. She cried out, a sharp, broken sound, body scrambling to follow the pull so the pain wouldn’t worsen. Tears sprang fresh to her eyes as I hauled her across the mattress toward the edge.“Open,” I ordered, voice rough. She did immediately, mouth wide, tongue out, submissive. I didn’t give her time to prepare. I shoved my cock straight down her throat i

NOAH~*+*~The club was a sensory assault with its annoying strobe lights slicing through, the bass so deep it rattled bones, bodies packed tight and slick with mucky sweat. The rooftop in the Meatpacking District had been transformed into a maddening chaos: champagne fountains, aerialists dangling from ropes above the dance floor, confetti cannons primed for midnight. Lex had pulled strings to get us on the list, and we’d arrived late enough that the night was already peaking.I was three drinks in and the edge from the afternoon had dulled to a pleasant buzz. Ellis was somewhere in the VIP section, probably charming his way into a booth full of models. Lex was on the dance floor, moving with that effortless swagger that drew eyes. I leaned against the bar, scanning the crowd without really looking for anyone when someone tapped my shoulder hard. I turned to find Lex, shirt half-unbuttoned, hair damp with sweat, grinning like a devil.“Hey, man—your phone’s been ringing off the h

“Eat something,” he told me with a quiet insistence.I took the berry between my teeth, the sweet-tart burst grounding me a little. He watched me chew, then offered a corner of toast. I ate obediently, bite by bite, while he sipped his own tea and fed me like it was the most natural thing in the world. Eggs, more fruit, another piece of toast. When the plate was mostly empty, he set it aside and brushed a crumb from my lip with his thumb.“I have to head to the office soon,” he said. “Year-end meetings. I wanted to see you awake before I left.”I nodded, throat tight. “Okay.”He stood, stretching slightly, then moved to the dresser. When he was finished, he looked every inch the powerful man the world knew.“Alright then,” he exhaled and came back to the bed, leaned down, and kissed me.He tasted like tea and him, and I leaned into it, hands coming up to grip his lapels, holding him there a second longer than he probably intended. When he pulled back, his forehead rested against mine
