Mathew POV.

I kept Anna with me through the day, she didn't want to leave me not even for a second, I didn't mind that, but I don't think my teacher appreciated when she moved into my lap instead of sitting next to me on a chair of her own.

"Annalise, time to go home" I tell her, I try to hold her hand instead of carrying her around, she's not heavy, but I'm not that strong. Compared to other vampires, I'm a baby, I tried, I really did tried to carry her around like she want but I couldn't do that, not during the whole day.

"Uppies" she says pulling both hands up, around my neck.

"Anna, can you please try and walk for me? Daddy is waiting outside" I say trying to talk her into walking and not being carried.

"No, want uppies" she says again still insisting on being carried, I huff and try to carry her, I walk out slowly careful not to let her fall. I made it out to the car with lot of struggle but I made it, daddy, I mean James was waiting outside for us, he's the one who drives us
