I never meant to fall for my boyfriend’s father. When I caught Liam cheating and ran to his family mansion for answers, the last thing I expected was to end up pinned against his father’s desk, moaning Diego Ramos’ name while his fingers ruined me. Diego is everything Liam isn’t — powerful, ruthless, and dangerously addictive. The billionaire CEO is twice my age, my boss, and completely off-limits. But after one forbidden kiss, one stolen night in my childhood bedroom, I can’t stop craving the man who makes me scream “Daddy” while my family is downstairs. Now Liam is back with a fiancée on his arm, demanding his parents play happy family for appearances. His mother is threatening to destroy everything. And the worst part? I don’t feel guilty anymore. Because every time Diego looks at me like he wants to claim me, I realize the truth: I was never meant to be Liam’s. I was always meant to be his father’s dirty little secret.

Say It The Way You Did Last Night

Sadie’s POV

Last night, my boss walked in on me masturbating.

I’d spread my legs wide while sitting in my office chair, feet propped shamelessly on either side of my laptop.

My skirt hiked up to my waist, my panties pulled to one side like some mindless maniac in need of a quick fix.

“Five minutes” I'd quietly promised, slowly tracing over my folds.

But the moment my fingers plunged deep into my throbbing pussy, that silent promise went straight out the window.

It was reckless. Stupid, even. I know. But it was two hours after closing time, the entire floor should’ve been empty.

My head fell back, eyes squeezed shut until I started seeing stars.

Until I started seeing him.

Diego Ramos, pinning me down on this very desk, that deep, commanding voice growling my name while he ruined me.

“Fuck… Diego,” I moaned, loud and broken, right as my orgasm crested.

Hypnotised by the taste of pleasure, I didn't hear the spare key slide into the door until it was too late.

When my eyes fluttered open, he was standing right in the doorway.

Mr. Ramos, in his perfectly tailored suit, while I froze—fingers still buried knuckle-deep, juices coating my thighs.

His dark eyes locked on me. No shock. No disgust. Just a raw, burning heat that made my clit pulse even harder.

For three agonizing heartbeats, neither of us moved.

Then he turned on his heel and left without a single word, while I sat there panting and mortified, my orgasm ruined and my career probably over.

It can't get any worse than that, you'd think.

It can. And it probably would.

Because Mr. Ramos wasn’t just my boss.

He was the CEO of Ramos & Associates, the third-largest law firm in the country. He’d hired me as his executive assistant a year after my college internship in the summer of 2023—a position I was determined to earn on merit alone, and not because of the close relationship we already shared.

Yes, we knew each other before I became his assistant.

Mr. Ramos… was my boyfriend's father.

“Earth to Sadie? Earth to Sadie, do you copy?” The voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

My partner Angela stood in front of my desk, staring me down with an expression that looked like she'd been trying to get my attention for a while now.

“Off daydreaming again, huh? Must be nice.”

The folders she'd been holding up landed on my desk with a jolting thud.

“You need to approve these before taking them up to the boss. The deadline's today. You remember, right?”

“Yeah” I answered, aloof.

I didn't remember. And the boss’ office was the last place I wanted to be.

But I had to suck it up and do my job while I still had it.

Reaching for the folders, she pinned them down with her hand when I got close.

“You've been pretty distracted today” she said, her tone sweet but edged. “Did something happen with Liam?”

Of course she’d bring him up.

I managed a smile I didn't mean. “Liam and I are fine. He's just… busy.”

“Busy” was code for radio silence and the growing suspicion that my boyfriend was enjoying more than just legal work in France. But admitting that out loud felt like pouring salt on an open wound.

Angela shrugged. “If you're still having trouble reaching him, you could always ask Mr. Ramos. No one’s in a better position to get through to his son than his own father.”

Great. Thanks for the reminder.

I grabbed the folders before she could say anything else and stood up on shaky legs.

My heart hammered against my ribs as I headed toward the private elevator that led straight to the top floor… Mr. Ramos’ domain.

Every step felt heavier. The memory of moaning his name while I fingered myself played on loop in my head.

What if he fired me on the spot? What if he told Liam? What if he looked at me with disgust this time instead of that scorching silence?

The elevator dinged. I smoothed down my pencil skirt, adjusted the files in my arms, and stepped into the sleek, intimidating hallway.

My hand trembled as I knocked.

“Come in.”

His voice, deep and controlled, sent a traitorous shiver down my spine.

I stepped in, clutching the thick stack of folders tightly against my chest.

He wasn’t seated at his desk. Instead, he stood near the floor-to-ceiling windows on the side of the room, one hand in his pocket, staring out at the city skyline while on a phone call.

His broad shoulders filled out his tailored suit jacket, silver threading through his dark hair catching the light.

“Yes, I understand the concern,” he said firmly into the phone. “We’ll adjust the clause and send the revised draft by tomorrow.”

I waited quietly, not wanting to interrupt. When he glanced over his shoulder and noticed me, he gave a small, distracted nod toward the large oak desk.

“Drop them there,” he murmured, already turning back to his conversation.

Great news for me. He was too busy to mention last night.

I quickly crossed the room and placed the folders neatly on the corner of his desk, then turned to slip out as quietly as possible… but my luck ran out.

He ended the call then turned in my direction.

“Sadie,” He said, his voice now clear and focused. “Single out the Ramirez file. Page twelve. I just had a question come up with the client and I want to review that section.”

Shit.

My stomach tightened, but I nodded.

“Of course.”

I turned and picked out the third file, clearing my throat before reading the subheading aloud.

“The Ramirez account shows quarterly billings of Mr. Jonathan Ramirez and his case against…”

The words died on my tongue. Mr. Ramos was no longer across the room.

“Is something the matter?” He asked, right behind me.

I could feel the heat from his body prickle through my blouse.

“N… no” I muttered, turning to attempt a smart slide away from him.

There wasn't any space for that.

His desk behind me. His body in front. The sheer commanding presence of him made my mind go blank.

“You can keep reading,” he said.

“quarterly billings of… Mr. Jonathan Ramirez and his… case against…”

Already out of breath, I made the mistake of raising my gaze, and my eyes settled on his.

They stayed locked on mine, calm but unmistakably intent.

“Is there a problem?” he asked, voice low and steady.

“N-no,” I managed, but the lie felt paper-thin. I took an instinctive step backward — right into the edge of his massive desk, and my balance wavered.

He caught me before I could fall, his hand sliding firmly to the small of my back.

“That's an expensive desk, Sadie.”

“S… sorry” I managed, woefully failing to drag my eyes off him.

He didn't pull away. Didn't give more space so I could stand properly or put some distance between us.

He held me steady against him, his body still so close that I could feel the solid wall of his chest inches from mine.

“Are you sure you're alright?” he asked, his voice softening with genuine concern. “You look a little off today. If you’re feeling under the weather, you can take the rest of the day off.”

I couldn't even respond.

Up close like this, he was devastating. The sharp line of his jaw, the faint silver at his temples, the quiet authority radiating from every inch of him. My mind was racing.

Only then did I realize where my hands had ended up. One was fisted tightly in the front of his crisp white shirt. The other gripped his bicep, feeling the hard muscle beneath the fabric.

This was wrong. So incredibly wrong. He was my boss. He was Liam’s father. Last night was a mistake. If this was a second chance, I had to at least try to keep it professional.

But when I opened my mouth, his name slipped out in a trembling whisper.

“Mr. Ramos…”

In an instant, His eyes darkened… like I'd said something wrong. His hand stayed firm on the small of my back, thumb brushing once, deliberately, over the fabric of my blouse. He leaned in, his breath brushing my lips as his hand tipped my jaw up, forcing my gaze to lock on him alone.

“Not like that” he said. “Say it the way you did last night.”
