Chapter 4 - Present
Jason patted the seat next to him with a seductive gaze on his eyes.
The smirk on his lips followed it as well, inviting Ryan to play with them.
… they wanted each other…
… they craved that touch…
… they dreamed of such a connection…
Ryan had never thought about the dressing room as a nice place, especially the sweaty benches. Yet, they had never been more interesting and inviting to him than that day.
The soft steps were quickly replaced by rushed ones as he went to the other teenage boy, taking his lips on his, connecting their mouths in a quick move while their tongues fought for domination…
Jason’s back touched the nasty bench. However, unlike other days, the Werewolf didn’t mind it, while accepting his defeat.
The Human boy knew exactly what to do to make him moan for more, and he was starting to enjoy that more than he should… beyond his flirting plans… he was liking it a lot.
… it was sweet, hot, and not enough, all at the same time…
Both teenagers wanted to take their risk and see how far they could go there. Nevertheless, those plans didn’t go very far as the bell rang, reminding them about the gym class, and how it would start soon…
They had already missed math and physics, maybe they should miss another one… Those were the thoughts that crossed their minds, but it wouldn’t be easy.
And, as Jason heard someone open the old metalic doors, he knew they had to stop before Ryan also heard the creak, and the door was closed as soon as the other teen ran away from under him.
The shower was quickly open, replacing the noise of the other teenagers walking in one by one, leaving the water run over his warm body when the Human could barely think about rushing to his locker to pretend he had just arrived there as well.
… hopefully, no one would notice how hard he was for the other boy hiding away from their friends…
But, his plans didn’t go exactly well as Ryan wished when the noisiest of them all saw it, and soon, it was the only thing everyone was talking about during the following two weeks and the whole weekend.
… gazes were all on Ryan’s private parts during all the parties he went after, and he could barely recall when they stopped staring at him, unlike Jason…
Jason would remember every single comment spoke about Ryan’s hard on, and although he smiled and joked along with everyone else, he was far from happy about such a matter.
“You should cover yourself better next time,” all the gazes on his… the Werewolf had no name to his relationship with Ryan. Yet, he disliked so much when someone else other than him would look with longing eyes at the Human. “Hear about it was enough to make them all honey about it that I can imagine them all jumping down on you if they saw a single glimpse of your lower abs by mistake.”
His jealousy was more than obvious in his voice that the other boy couldn’t stop himself from smiling upon thinking about it when he approached him, hugging the Werewolf by the waist, while allowing his nose to touch his ear before he whispered back against it… “Don’t worry, I will never allow anyone else to see it besides you.”
Ryan’s hand quickly took hold of Jason’s chin, kissing his thin lips before he could say anything else back at him.
… that relationship could have no name, but it was always nice to see Jason being possessive about him as if he was claiming Ryan as his…
Ryan loved it a little too much…
… more than he knew he could, but he just wanted to belong and own the other teenager when no one was looking at them…
… accept what they had was something he wanted for as much as Jason’s lips.
It wasn't as complicated as it was with girls, and luckily, Jason got him… or at least, Ryan believed he did until everything fell apart and the sweet kisses were replaced by a strong punch against his jaw.
The hit was far from anything the Human could expect from the other boy, and even after ten years… Ryan could recall it as if he had been just punched by Jason.
The sensation was still strong in his memory as the last contact between them.
… the last time their skin touched each other until yesterday’s kiss…
His fingers couldn’t stop caressing his jawline while Ryan thought about it… while he accepted how much he missed Jason in his life as the fingertips went to his lips, recalling the brief kiss shared between them by mistake.
”Who… were you mistaking me with…” brushing his fingers against the sensitive skin, Ryan kept thinking, curious and jealous at the same time that someone else was the owner of that kiss and not him…
He wished he was strong enough to stop Jason from leaving, pulling him back into his hold as he used to do when they were younger and completely crazy for each other.
The memories could be bittersweet, but they were the ones that Ryan never forgot about in all those years… They were precious as the days they spent together with each other in the darkness.
… Yet, it was also what broke them apart…
“Is that all we are now… Are we just old memories to you now, Jay?” As he stared at his childhood bedroom’s ceiling, Ryan couldn’t stop himself from thinking about where he and his friendship with Jason were at this moment… Was it completely gone?
… or was there any remaining hope in that final kiss that replaced his punch memory…
Should he try his luck? Should they start fresh all over again?
Ryan wasn’t sure about the answer for any of those questions. Nevertheless, as he bit his bottom lip, he wanted to try to hope as he wondered if Jason would stay for the following weeks, joining them for the New Year’s celebrations and party as well.
“Maybe… Maybe, he will give me a chance… maybe, we could be friends again…” speaking out loud to himself, the Human man wanted to believe he would be capable of doing it and that his fears wouldn’t stop him once again. “If… if it… if it doesn’t work out, I can, at least, apologize to him.”
Chapter 47 - JasonFaster than my own thoughts my hand moved due to the unexpected action from Ryan, slapping away his fingers from my face, while my heart was still beating crazily fast by our closeness.SLAP! It caused a very loud and clean sound, surprising me, even if I was thankful that I had found this little hidden spot early as no one seemed to have noticed us among the performances of tonight. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. I was… just…” Ryan started to apologize to me, but at the same time, he seemed lost in his own words. “Forget that. I’m sorry, okay? It wasn’t my intention to startle you in any way.” And it didn’t take long before he gave up and also ignored himself. “Okay… but don't do it again, not even my past boyfriends had touched me like this without warning me first.” Was I trying to make him jealous? I truly don’t know as the stupid words just kept leaving my mouth under their own reign. “Boyfriend? Are you dating someone right now?” But to my unexpect
Chapter 48 - PresentHappiness filled the restaurant as everyone there welcomed the arrival of a new year. Nevertheless, Jason didn’t feel the same delight as the others as he lost himself in Ryan’s kiss.… The Human had his hold tightly around him, while their lips seemed to try to morph into one…At first, Jason tried to push him away, and he easily could if he wished to with his Werewolf strength, but later, he found himself giving in and sinking into the pleasure of those familiar lips.… it was like having back something that he missed for a very long time, and he didn’t want to let it go again…It was hard for Jason to tell when the party started to stir up again. All he could tell was that the laughs and joyful chats got louder as the music played, almost as if both tried to compete in the same rhythm. It was a spark in the snowy night, body swaying, while his own was pressed against Ryan, feeling the other male’s body heat while begging for more.… Everything felt so right and

Chapter 46 - JasonMore than a New Year’s party, the silver strings and other ornaments around made me think it reminded me more of a Solstice or Full Moon events done by our Pack. The only missing thing was the silver Moon glowing up above us in the sky to confirm that I was in an Oak Woods’ ceremony instead.Yet, I wasn’t dumb not to understand why it occurred as they must have been most likely chosen by my Mother and sister, and their influence somehow created that ambiance that was so natural to our kind. After all, quite a few Pack members were there already, and some more would join us later, including the Alpha couple, so… it was understandable why they wanted the party to be similar to the ones done by our Pack.… even if I wasn’t exactly my cup of tea as I doubt it was as welcoming to Humans as it was to us...Nevertheless, it wasn't my business to care! I had more important things to care about, and my main issue was if Ryan would end up showing up there or not… My emotions
Chapter 45 - Past - JasonAlthough some Werewolves Pack did share their space and land with regular Humans, it didn’t mean they were welcoming them in among their kind. This action was usually used as a way to protect them, hiding what they were from the world and possible issues as hunters. They would share the same town, stores, and places, but the Werewolves would always keep their community close and the Humans away as if they had some sort of disease that they could catch.… and it was exactly how Oak Woods had always behaved as far as Jason could remember…As a Pack created by survivors of hunters' attacks, Jason’s childhood was spent with other wolves who always told him to ignore the Humans around them. They didn’t have bad intentions, but they would always tell him how wolves should always stick together and be there for each other.… Pups would play with Human children as if it wasn’t a big deal until another pup showed up and they went ahead to just play with each other only
Chapter 44 - PresentNo word about the fact that Jason had left the restaurant with Ryan had been spoken to him by his family. And, despite finding it quite weird, the Werewolf decided to let it be, assuming that whatever explanation Caroline gave them had been enough to spare him of any possible comment from Lilith.“Are you insane?! Are you truly going to do it?!” Nevertheless, he was starting to regret sharing his plans with Clarissa. “Do you know what the Pack will say?! Your Mother! Oh, Goddess! I don't even want to think about her reaction! She will freak out!”Jason was trying not to be so obvious, but he had started to pack the few things he had left around the bedroom since he arrived.“Jay, you can't lose another Full Moon with the Pack. It will make everyone think that you’re trying to become a Sigma, is that what you want? Do you want to make us forget you and leave?” The She-wolf was pleading, almost as if she was holding back tears as she asked him that.“…” and, for a b
