Chapter 19

Noah entered the room after a long talk with the doctor and was quite surprised to see Meera sitting on the bed, looking outside the window. As far as he thought she was asleep but here she was fully awake and sitting on the bed. He laid down the meds on the table and sat beside her again. 

"Meera I told you not to move on your own. Why don't you listen to me?" He said in a bossy tone. He was trying to hide his smile as he was just playing with her. He could never talk so rudely with her in reality. 

"Why should I?" She asked, still looking outside. Her voice seemed cold and lifeless again.

"Didn't you say that you'll listen to me yourself." He asked in confusion. For some reason, he was getting anxious, it seemed as if things were gonna go wrong any minute. Her silence seemed suspicious and she was acting
