Chapter 5: First encouter

The next day, he was personally there to pick her for college. It was not normal at all, like the Prince of Asia picking his bodyguard from her home! But Meera still kept her calm, she didn’t complain or ask anything. She was quiet in the car on their way to the college.

"Hi, I'm Noah, the upcoming king." Noah introduced himself with a bright smile. He expected her to be like all those girls who try to please him all the time but Meera was the complete opposite.

"So?" She said coldly as if she didn’t care who he was and she actually didn’t! He was pissed off at her reaction but still didn’t say anything..

"I am here to protect you not to befriend you like all those sluts" She said as she looked outside the car. She stepped out of the car as they had reached the college, there were girls gathered around the car, trying to talk to the prince. 

He was surprised and thought, "How can a girl be so hard to get? She is different from all those girls who chase after me the whole day, they are so irritating but she is quite interesting." He smirked as he had found his new target, the girl he was going to chase from now on.

They entered the school and she went to the principal's office first. He decided to go after her out of curiosity. She told the principal that she was joining the college to protect the Prince but he disagreed and said that she couldn't join the college when she wasn't qualified for it. Meera looked ruthless as ever and the principal thought that she was some gangster trying to enter the college in the name of the prince so he disagreed immediately.

She tried to control her anger but the principal just kept talking bad so she couldn’t hold back. She took her gun out and pointed it at the principal. Noah entered the room and was shocked by seeing the principal at gunpoint.

"You know you are asking for death by rejecting when I ask you politely." She said coldly as she put the gun on his forehead. He trembled with fear as he thought that he was about to die. 

Noah came in between and told her to drop the gun but of no use. He assured the principal that he was her bodyguard and it was the king’s orders that she needed to join the college.

"S..sorry...You just have to fill this form." He said and handed her a form while he trembled in fear.

"Better if you obey." She said as she stared at him coldly and placed her gun on the table to fill out the form.

The principal was scared to death. He showed her the class and kept shaking the whole time as he was afraid of her. He didn’t dare share that incident with anyone as he was told to conceal the information.

She introduced herself in the class and took a seat. Noah entered the classroom later on. All the girls were trying to talk to him while Meera was just watching from a distance, she kept a low profile in the college unlike Noah’s imagination that she’ll keep following him everywhere but she didn’t even bother to ask him how his day went. The lectures went on well and it finally ended in the evening. They were standing near the main gate waiting for the car.

"You scared the principal but he was definitely asking for it," Noah said and was laughing loudly.

"How?" She asked and looked frustrated cause college just wasn't her thing.

"He rejected someone who works for the upcoming king." He said proudly and Meera rolled her eyes.

"I just scared him because he refused to accept my proposal.” She snapped at him because she had had enough of his ‘upcoming king’ thing. “Also I had a really bad mood today which was mostly because you kept irritating me." She said without a change in her facial expressions. He was pissed off by her again but didn’t dare say anything cause he himself was scared of her.

"Watch out!!" She shouted suddenly and rushed behind him while Noah just froze because of the sudden shock.

A man was walking towards them with a glass bottle in hand. He wanted to kill the Prince by hitting the bottle on his head...

She stood behind Noah and used her arm to block the attack. The bottle was broken on her arm and it started bleeding in no time. Meera bent down to take out the gun from her boot and shot him on his leg immediately. She didn't even flinch before shooting him which looked hella scary. 

Noah was shocked and afraid of her but then he saw her arm. It was bleeding badly and there were glass fragments stuck in the wounds. But it looked as if she didn't feel any pain cause her expressions remained the same as ever.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" She asked him and was a bit worried cause that was what her job was, to protect the prince.

"Stop worrying about me, look at your arm it's bleeding so much." He said as he pointed towards her bleeding arm. There were several glass fragments stuck in it, and blood dripping on the ground like water. Still, there seemed to be no sign of pain on her face.

"This...it will recover soon." She said and withdrew her arm away from his sight.

"But you need to treat it." He held her hand and took her to the car. Isaac, George, and Lewis were working under her and so they were also his bodyguards. 

She gave them a signal and they took that guy who had attacked Noah with them.

Noah took Meera to the hospital, forcefully obviously. For some reason, Meera just couldn’t refuse him. The doctor looked at her wounds. He started the treatment in no time but there were too many glass pieces stuck in her arm. 

Noah was standing beside her, he seemed to be scared instead of Meera who had a straight face. The doctor was afraid of the Prince and was shaking continuously. She took the instrument from his hand and removed all the glass pieces on her own and was pretty calm while doing so. The doctor was shocked that she could not feel any pain as he had not given her any painkillers. All the pieces were removed and the doctor did dressing.
