The ride back home was quieter than usual. I leaned my head slightly against the window, watching the city blur past in soft streaks of light and movement.

My fingers tightened slightly around the edge of the tickets in my hand.

“You’re something more.”

I frowned faintly, shifting in my seat.

    Hello my darling readers,.I sincerely apologize for not posting for over three weeks. But to be honest, I never meant to ghost you all on purpose. Since the 7th of this month, I've been having a chronic ear infection that required me to undergo syringing. After the syringing, I started having multiple complications and situations that required me to go back and forth to the hospital. Thankfully, I've completed most of my IV and IM injections, but I'm still taking medications to ease the pain and discharge. I'm seventy percent perfect and just need a little time to recuperate.I'll return to writing on the 1st of November and maintain a steady update of the book. If all things go well, we'll be getting a minimum of two chapters daily, and Ezran and Lucian's story will take a wrap by December so that we can prepare for a Christmas/holiday work.I love you all and see your efforts in my profit share and views.
