Thirty two

I would admit that I was feeling quite weird about this date. Putting it in a more specific way, I was shy. This was totally crazy and confusing, but it was the crazy truth. I was really starting to wonder if my annoyance toward Rae being indifferent to me was me starting to like her in a way. No, not like I really liked her, but being honest, I liked being with her, liked staring at her, and liked hearing her say something. It felt like although she had always been trying to push me away from her, it made me feel the need to know her more. 

Was all of this due to my loneliness? Or had I decided to truly move on? 

Taking a deep breath, I turned around to walk into my room. And just taking a step in, I halted in my tracks. 

Sweet Lord, this woman was beautiful.
