Goodbye Boston , hello Sioux falls

Next day ......

Tuesday 1:00 pm...

At the Airport...

Belle stepped out of the car and walked over to the trunk to take out their bag.

Immediately she was done, she closed the trunk and stood by it as she watched Emma and Jasper step out of the car.

Jasper walked around to Emma and pulled her into a tight hug immediately.

"Please call me Everyday " She murmured. 

"Of course, I will" he replied 

"I don't know if I'll be able to stay in that house alone," she said as she looked up at him, and he smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll always be in touch " he replied and she nodded.

Belle scoffed where she was standing, actually irritated by what the both of them were doing.

"Why didn't he just marry her instead" she scoffed mimicking Emma's facial expression in a very funny way.

After some minutes of repeated saying I'll miss you, they finally disengaged.

"Let's go," Jasper said to Belle, as he took his bag and pulled it along into the airport.

Belle nodded respectfully before she turned around and followed Jasper into the airport.

4:10 pm...

South Dakota 

The plane slowed as it descended before finally kissing the tarmac and coming to a stop.

Every passenger began to hustle for their luggage and began to come down.

Belle and Jasper did the same, immediately they stepped out of the airplane they walked into the airport in south Dakota to clear themselves.

Immediately they were done clearing themselves, they stepped out and flagged down a taxi.

He showed the taxi driver the address the agency gave him and they got in.

Jasper took the front seat and Belle the backseat.

"Well Hello Sioux Falls" he exhaled immediately as the driver began driving.

"I hope you're ready for me " he added, and almost immediately he heard Belle chuckle in the back seat.

He turned immediately to face her, 

"I'm sorry" she whispered immediately.

Wednesday 13th August 2022

Sioux Falls...

8:00 am ...

"Good morning Mr. Mills" The officer at the Sioux falls FBI office greeted as Jasper walked into his office.

"It's nice to see you, have your seat please," he said pointing at the seat in front of him.

"Good morning Officer Mike "

"It's nice to meet you too," Jasper replied as he gently took his seat.

"I'm sure your boss has already briefed you on what you have to do here?!"

"He did"

"But, I must warn you this mission has to take all your time and energy"

"As of now, no one has even been able to track down their location,"

"But I trust you're competent enough to bring an end to their terrorism" Officer Mike concluded.

Jasper just looked up at him with pursed lips, wondering why he would try to discourage or scare him on his first day here 

"Will I be working from the hotel?!" He  asked instead

"Of Course not,"

"Here," Officer Mike said as he opened his top drawer and pulled out two keys.

"This is for your apartment here, the address is attached to the key holder "

"And this is an official car, to aid your movement "

"It's parked outside " 

"Thank you sir "  he replied.

"Officer Abani mentioned you have a wife is she here with you?!"

"Yes sir" Jasper replied.

"Alright Good, good" 

"So that'll be all, for now, you can get going  and get settled in " 

"If there's any other thing, I'll let you know "

"But for now, I think you already know all there is to know, " he concluded with a small smile.

"Sure,"

"Once again thank you, sir "

"I'm happy to be here, I'll do all that I can to make sure their activities end," Jasper said 

"I hope so, " Officer Mike replied with a tight-lipped smile.

Jasper bowed respectfully one more time before walking out.

First, he drove to the hotel where they spent the night, they packed up all of their things before finally heading to the address on the Key holder.

Immediately he got to the address he honked twice and the gate slowly went open. 

"Good Morning Officer Jasper '' the gatekeeper greeted immediately as he drove in.

At first, he thought he was in the wrong place, but the gatekeeper knows his name so he's actually in the right place.

"Good Morning" he answered in a whisper as he stepped down from the car.

Belle stepped out also and Darell greeted her with a respectful bow.

Jasper opened the trunk of the car and tried to take out his belongings but Darell - the gatekeeper beat him to it.

"Welcome to our City," he said to him with a small smile and Jasper could only nod in reply.

He had expected to be given a small condominium all to himself but he had just gotten a luxurious Duplex and a company.

"I wasn't told that we won't be living alone," Belle said and Jasper turned to look at her, almost rolling his eyes at that comment.

He never even wanted to live with her also and here she is complaining, because of the presence of one other person.

"I was employed just to take care of things around here because you might be consumed by work !"

"I can clean up after my mess, " Jasper replied.

"The Agent didn't think so, " Darell said and Jasper snapped his head to face him.

"I'm sorry" he apologized immediately.

"Yeah right!" Jasper muttered and began to walk inside.

Belle quickly took their bags from Darell and walked inside the house too.

"Wow" She exhaled immediately as they walked in.

"It's so big" she whispered in awe, Jasper slowly turned to her, his mouth wrinkled up in a sneer.

"Please stop being so annoying and get our things up to the room" he snapped.

"Yes yes," she rushed immediately as she quickly struggled with the two bags and began to take them upstairs.

Jasper exhaled deeply as watched her walk upstairs.

The interior design was 3D rendering and it was so giving.

His house back that home was beautiful also but now he knows, there's beauty and there's beauty.

This house right here is the second beauty.

He slowly took the staircase and walked upstairs, Belle was still in the passage struggling with the two bags, he took it from her and began to walk ahead.

"I'll take the master, you find somewhere else," he said as he opened the door to the master bedroom.

"And please stay in a place that is very far from me !" He added, walked inside the room, and slammed the door shut.
