ADDISON COBBLER POV

The moment the door rolled open, the smart lights Jace installed in his garage instantly flooded the vast space with white lights as Jace drove in, pulling the car to a stop in its usual spot. But he made no move to exit the car making me sit rigidly while nervously watching him from my peripheral vision.

Jace's hands clutched the stirring wheel so tightly that I could easily imagine how his muscles were flexing under his dark shirt making me roll my eyes at his dramatics. I get it, he was mad at that man for completely disrespecting him by going after his fiancée and future Luna but that didn't mean he should hurt his hands from the force he was exerting right now. Or put a dent on the innocent stirring wheel whose only fault was being available and present for the Alpha's wrath.

"Are you okay?" Jace finally asked after heaving a small sigh but his shoulders were still rigid and his aura dangerous.
