Daeira was told what to do. And the first thing of all important things to execute was to act scared. Like really pissed in the pants scared when she stepped foot on the very ground of the Agartha. Her blindfold was removed before the guards of the gigantic gate of the kingdom. If her mouth wasn't duct-taped, she would have screamed after seeing the gatekeepers. She had been brief about what kind of monstrosity she will have to deal with in the so-called advanced civilization but seeing the creatures upfront was another thing.
Two large Minotaur approached Esee and Csal. They exchanged in that ancient language again. She can't help but to throw an unintentional scared look to the large stature of those half bull and half man creatures while they huffed in an angry tone before proceeding into inspecting her as if scanning her with their observant eyes.
'Act scared, act scared, act scared.' Daeira chanted in her mind. However, the large beads of sweat across her face signaled the beasts that she was near into collapsing in fear of them. It took a while before the chief of gatekeepers signaled for their passage of the gate.
The first task, get through the huge gate without being detected of their mission.
Second, she will be presented before the King by Esee and Csal who will pretend as the ones who hunted and captured her for a price.
Third, try not to be eaten. Of course, that would be easy. If she kept her strength intact, she can bolt a run when the king decided to go cannibal to her.
Fourth, the most important thing of all the things above, find the king's weaknesses. Because he was said to have little to nothing at all. His abilities stayed unmatched even after centuries. Many times, the Nazis tried to destroy him but to no avail. In the recordings, he controls elements and there was still much-undiscovered power he possessed that Nazis would love to know. Because if one knows the enemy's weakness, one can be the victor over the other. She will have to find out how will the king opened and closed the gates of the underworld to his beckoning because according to Nazis, they will prevent him from proliferating terror in the surface world.
"Why not try to attack them force by force?" she even asked stupidly.
"you don't understand child. Agartha is an advanced civilization. Nothing on earth's surface can match their technologies. We've sent spies, but no human can even enter the gate alive."
"then that disqualifies me," she insisted trying to get out from the unnecessary chaos of the unknown.
"Again, you’re the bride and our last thread of hope in preventing that from happening," the elder said referring to the apocalypse, "find his weakness before the rise of the black moon in the sky."
"Black moon?" she asked and tried recalling if there was even one in the sky before.
"The time of those hybrids into surface world hunting,"
And Daeira shivered at the mere thought. Being right in the Agartha didn't make her feel quite heroic. Nevertheless, the elder had always made her shouldered the salvation of the human.
'Just make a step carefully, like water droplets inconsistency can create a chink even to the massive rock.' that elder said.
"Concentrate, Daeira." Esee managed to bring her back from reveries when they were in front of the last door. She looked from her behind and she frowned at the long stretch of hallway bathed with golds and crystals. When she looked down, the floors were adorned with different stones. She can't name all of them but she saw Ruby, Jade, and Amethyst. There weren't any chandeliers lighting their way but in the darkness outside, the place was well lit from somewhere. She wandered her eyes to locate where those lights came from but her attention snapped when another two Minotaur opened the door to them.
Daeira slightly winced when Esee and Csal rashly dragged her with them. The rope tightened on her wrist behind her back and the duct tape became a little bit uncomfortable now. She was okay awhile ago even with those restraints but she felt suffocated by the time they entered the large hall. She was thrown mercilessly by Csal which made her sprawled on the floor. She felt annoyed by that as she snapped her head towards the cheeky-eyed girl. But she saw Esee and Csal expression. Unsure and fearing as they immediately bowed down. Csal was the one to speak on their language in a trembling voice.
Daeira winced again when the rope tightened on her wrist. She managed to look up in front of her and regretted it so much. Her bones clattered between her flesh upon beholding the same beast on her dream. But it seemed more vicious and hostile when it growled so loudly, making the hall trembled. All the subjects fell down the floor, bowing, pleading. Even Esee and Csal shivered before the beast. The elder called this the great winze...or humanity's abominable curse.
At first, Daeira felt a little confident in agreeing in doing the task for the sake of humanity who didn't even have the idea that she was here, sacrificing herself for them and at the mercy of the beast. She can even happily comply into jumping from the tallest building in the world than spend another minute before the animal.
The animal let a low growl which snapped her attention to it. In the front, there was a seat behind the strutting animal. She thought it might had been the throne. Besides the seat, she saw two men bowing their heads but she can't be mistaken that those were the hunters in her dreams. On their faces were displeasure over something when the beast snarled at them so angrily that they fell on their knees, speaking on their languages. On her ears, they were as if asking for forgiveness.
Daeira blinked the tears in her eyes while her stares still directed to the beast. Her body was beyond shivering in fear. No, she wasn't signed up for this. She’d rather die by gun than being torn apart flesh by flesh. The horror of her dreams came like a flood in her mind.
Chapter 4 (Part 1) A muffled sob escaped Daeira's duct-taped mouth which snapped the beast's attention to her. It growled which made two half human half goat, a Satyrs, stood up and made their way to her. They freed her hands inbound as well as removed the restraints on her mouth. That made her tremors visible in everyone's eyes including the beast. It rounded the throne while the two hunters attended him. He came out a man with a black robe, just before he can close the robe, she was greeted with powerful muscles lines across his abdomen and a strange tattoo down his chest. She was half thankful he wasn't naked down below or she will feel embarrassed. When they met eyes, she confirmed the man on her dream. The devilishly handsome s
Chapter 4 Part 2 She leaned over the parapet while squinting her eyes, trying to see the city from afar. From the down below, there were lights, bright and dancing. The tall skyscraper magnificently stood out and she wondered how would the palace looked like from afar. Did it look grand just like those buildings? Turning about the view, she just wished that she won't encounter any wiggling creatures like snakes or she'll definitely lose her soul in the process. Any creeping serpent big or s
Esee and Csal's jaws dropped to the floor upon seeing the incoming frightened Daeira with a snake behind her. By the looks of it, she had no idea where was she going when she continued running fast in their direction. Her screaming only stopped when she slammed hard to the Aryan king. Upon the collision, her body collapsed to the floor while she held her hurting head. She bowed wincing over the pain while her breath was nowhere near calm, she was panting hard as if she wanted to suck all of the air around them. "Ah, Chincha..." she muttered but then immediately snapped her head to her back and frantically stood up when her eyes rested on the snake. She might have been so scared that she hadn't noticed them as she ought to continue running away. When she ran past by the king, her steps halted when he grabbed her by arm. Daeira thought the snake had already taken hold of her when she tried to wiggle free but a king's angry voice snapped her o
Leera had done something strange to her when she was taken into a bath again. She chanted while pouring some oils in the tub and those oils moved towards her skin like leeches. It absorbed on her every pore before she vomited something dark. There came tingling all over her body as if tiny electricity tickling her until she felt so sleepy. The next thing to follow, Daeira woke up on her own bed, tucked in by those silk blankets. She sleepily blinked her eyes while turning on her sides. She wasn't aware of her surroundings nor think that she was in Agartha since she thought she might be dreaming all of it. The monsters, the angry bulls, the bulky-looking half-human goats, the beautiful nymphs, the hombre cats, and the...Aryan king, the frightening hybrid black dragon. Daeira lifted her eyes to the window and saw the large moon and its light streaming inside her room. Her ears were greeted with gentle waves of water as she slowly bolted
For the following days, she had been accompanying the king into traveling the lands into which she was surprised by the flying cars and the modernity of everything in the land. When she was in the city she viewed from her balcony, inside the building while waiting for their departure to another city, the palace stood above the top hill. It looked so magnificent although it was far from being modern looking, the skyscrapers in their city couldn't compete with its grandeur. The next city they went was called the Shambala. It was more like an open country type of city where lots of creatures can be seen. She was surprised to see a human form walking down the streets. While walking towards the venue where she will be introduced, she secretly eyed the King and his two hunters walking ahead of her while she was with two of her own warriors to protect her, Esee and Csal. She was surprised how they got the favor of the king to actually go along their travel and guard his bride
The next city they went, was the place called Thule where people spoke mostly Sanskrit, another Aryan language that Daeira didn’t understand. She had joined the King in the parade inside the city where a large throng of people welcomed them in merry. After bowing to the king, they went about celebrating his entrance as well as exclaiming positive responses to her as well. Daeira wished to ask Esee about their language and why were they so overjoyed in seeing her with the King. But Esee and Csal were walking alongside the red and blue hunters outside their floating car. It made her marveled every time she was discovering the advanced lifestyle of everyone in the underworld. There were technologies which the human hadn’t invented just yet. Doctors here were called healers who didn’t have to use the traditional way of operating the injured. They used machines in the diagnoses and in healing. In case there weren’t any available machines, a bracelet attached t
Chapter6Part2 The ‘little parade’ progressed to one of the venues that the Thuleans prepared. They set up a little amusement for the king and his bride just outside their own room, where Daeira and the King were seated on their large balcony. Sitting comfortably on her cushioned seat beside the silent Aryan King, she anticipated a large tribal dance to be performed down their balcony where there was a huge and wide stretch of road being cleared for the performance. Her eyes went to the spectators across their location. They seemed weren’t excited by the upcoming performance when all the time, they were beholding them in much anticipation of their reactions. “Why are they staring at me like that?” she asked although not expecting the king to answer her every blabbering. Thekingglancedatherforthemomentbeforeanswering,“Noidea,” And it made her lo
Daeira enjoyed it so much when she decided to take a cab towards the Han river instead of unnecessarily popping up there with the king’s powers. Of course, he got seriously pissed by the traffic and the bumping of shoulders of the crowded plaza. Well, in Agartha, who would dare cross the king, right? “This is my favorite spot when I’m looking at the yellow pirate,” she said while sitting on the bench concealed from other passersby. They both looked up to the fullest of the moon. “I’ve been doing this for so long but I can’t entertain you with details on the stars. I only know Orion, right there.” The king saw where she was pointing before seeing the pure excitement in her eyes. “I tried learning the things of the universe in my studies but got no money to fulfill it. Money is the big thing around here. After dad died, all the savings for my studies were gone like magic,” Daeira snap her fingers before turning to th
