In Michael's absence, Zee didn't go searching for a job. She found that now she had the freedom of doing so, the drive was not as strong as it had been. Admittedly, most of her actions were borne out of rebellion.

When Michael called and inquired if she had started searching, she said she was taking her time. He had just laughed it off and wished her well.

Zee was bored out of her mind by the second day, so she decided to travel back to her home state. She didn't tell Michael. They were both good now, so she didn't see the point. She had gone by road, driving there on a whim after shopping for bedroom groceries in their bedroom.

When she was back home, she called Glory and informed him that she was back in the state, saying Michael asked her to pick up something from a client.
