Chapter Forty-One

A/N: Its going to start getting real steamy between these two from this chapter on! ;)

Later that night the two were  sitting in the dining room. She knew that they were about to have a conversation that she didn’t feel prepared for. She sighed and eyed him warily for a moment. She didn’t know what to say or how to bring up the subject. She nervously fiddled with her glass of water as she tried to think of something. 

“Well,” Kane began with a nervous chuckle. “Now that we’re going to talk about what’s happened.... I don’t know where or how to begin.” 

“Thank god I’m not the only one.” She whispered. “Look, I don’t want things to be awkward just because we  kissed…”
