Fernando’s POV

The clink of silverware on polished ceramic, the subtle scent of truffle butter and aged wine, and the low murmur of expensive conversations filled the air around me.

A place like this screamed elegance and it had a nice feeling to it.

Chandeliers hung like captured galaxies from a vaulted ceiling, showing light in crystalline dances across majestic walls and marble floors.

It was a restaurant that required reservations made weeks in advance, where the napkins were softer than some bedsheets and the waiters were top notch.

I would have given anything to be home instead.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate a good meal, a proper ambience, and being around men tailored suit.

But tonight, after dealing with six hours of boardroom bickering and another three navigating company reports I shouldn't have had to touch, the last thing I wanted was to pretend I wasn’t about to fall asleep right where I was.

Still, I was here.

Because of Archer.

I adjusted my cufflinks as we were

Michael’s POV The street was quiet.Too quiet. The kind of quiet that made you feel like there was peace but it was all too good to be true especially in this chaotic world.Ivy and I were just a few blocks away from her apartment, our footsteps echoing too sharply against the cracked pavement of the old street. We had not even expected what happened next because it was honestly the last thing on our minds.Bright light from a flickering streetlamp buzzed faintly above us, casting long shadows behind our backs. Then we saw him.Eliot.Standing in front of us like he owned the goddamn night. His arms were crossed, and that smug, disgusting smirk of his curled the corners of his lips. I felt my spine stiffen, my hand twitching by my side from old instincts. Ivy stopped beside me, visibly tensing."You’ve got to be kidding me," I muttered."Michael…" Ivy whispered, her voice barely audible. I knew that tone. She was nervous. Not because she couldn’t hold her own—but because she was

Archer’s POV The night air hit my face like a slap I had secretly been craving. Cool and unrelenting. I stood outside the restaurant, my hands shoved deep in the pockets of my coat, my thoughts boiling hot.Fernando had yawned. He fucking yawned while I was talking as if I was something that didn't deserve half of his attention. And he yawned.Everything had happened in seconds because it felt like time slowed.I hadn’t said anything right then. I just stared at him. My heart split somewhere between rage and humiliation. He noticed—his eyes darted to mine, wide for a second like he knew he messed up. But then he smiled apologetically and reached for his wine, and I knew that if I stayed another second, I would explode. So I walked out. Now, the night wrapped itself around me as if trying to calm my fury, but it wasn’t working. My leather shoes clicked across the cobblestone as I kept walking away from the glowing windows and laughter of the restaurant. I found a bench at the ed

Michael’s POV The fluorescent lights in the Kafé Verse parking lot flickered like they were tired too.I stood beside the back exit with my hands in my jacket pockets, the last echoes of laughter still bouncing between the walls behind us. The doors had just clunked shut as we finished locking up for the night, the quiet click of Mateo’s keys signaling the end of a long day.“It’s weird not dreading tomorrow,” Mateo said, shoving his hands deep into his hoodie as a gust of wind swept through. “Like, we actually get to come in and not worry about Eliot breathing down our necks.”I let out a quiet breath. “I still can’t believe we did that.”“I can,” Ivy said, falling into step beside me. Her black boots crunched softly over the ground. “It was overdue.”Mateo let out a bitter laugh. “The guy has been treating us like garbage for months. I think I speak for all of us when I say he had it coming.”“Big time,” Liam agreed. “You should have seen him go white when you told him off, Mich

Becca sat on the cold stone bench beneath the trailing vines of the east garden, her fingers loosely clasped around the rim of a once-steaming mug. Becca’s gaze was distant, locked on something unseen, perhaps even unreachable.“He looked different,” she murmured, as if the wind itself had spoken first.Mira, seated opposite her on a smaller bench, tilted her head and raised a curious brow. “You mean Alpha Eugene?”Becca nodded, her eyes never shifting from the horizon beyond the garden walls. “He looked Stronger, tired, but there was something else… in his eyes. A kind of... restraint. Like he was holding something back. Like he wanted to speak but couldn’t.”Mira leaned forward, her hand absently toying with a wildflower growing near the edge of the bench. “Did you want him to talk to you?”“No,” Becca answered quickly, too quickly. Her voice carried a sharp edge, betraying an undercurrent of emotion she hadn’t meant to show. "I don’t really care. It doesn’t bother me."Mira rai

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   The Lady by the Fountain

The handkerchief was soft against Eugene’s damp skin as he dabbed away the remnants of the cold water that had just washed over his face. The copper basin near the edge of the training field reflected the early morning sunlight, glinting gold against the dark, dew-soaked grass. His breath slowed as he looked up, the sounds of the estate’s courtyard pressing in around him like a well-worn cloak. The training field was busy this morning. The sounds of weapons could still be heard, and the scent of sweat lingered in the air. Most of the warriors were now retiring to go to eat, wash, or tend to wounds—physical or otherwise. And yet, she had remained. She had handed him the handkerchief silently, appearing as if summoned by thought. Her approach had made no sound. Her steps were too light, too careful. A shadow that chose to reveal itself. Her expression was composed, refined, and utterly unreadable. A quiet smile played on her lips—neither inviting nor cold, but something far more
