Fernando’s POV

The door opened with a hesitant creak, revealing Ashley in the soft glow of her apartment lights.

She froze in the doorway, her hand still gripping the knob, and her breath caught visibly in her throat when she saw me standing there.

"Good evening, Ashley. Lovely place you have here" I said in a taunting voice.

Her eyes widened.

"Fernando?"

I couldn’t answer at first. I didn’t even know how I got here.

One second I was in the driver's seat of the car, enjoying the breeze blowing my hair and the next I was standing in the hallway of a this apartment complex in the middle of the city, in front of Ashley’s door.

There was a pull in my chest—irrational, magnetic and unexplainable.

I had followed it without question.

Ashley’s shock melted into something else. Her eyes narrowed, lips tightening as her spine straightened.

She crossed her arms and leaned slightly into the frame, blocking the entrance like a well-trained guard dog.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She a

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   The Rival I Never Met

Archer's POV I slammed the door behind me as I stepped into my mansion, the echo moving through the grand, majestic hall like the wave of my fury. Every heavy footstep I took toward the living room made my anger simmer hotter, and by the time I sank onto the leather couch, it was a raging storm inside my chest.Fernando Ramirez. His name alone was enough to make my jaw clench. He had said no. No to a relationship. No to something real. Something meaningful. Something that, for once in my chaotic and calculated life, I wanted with every damn fiber of my being. And why? Because of a part of his past. Because of someone who wasn’t even in the picture anymore.Michael.The name tasted sour on my tongue, even though I had never met the bastard. I hated him. Hated the way his shadow still clung to Fernando’s every decision, every hesitation, every soft flicker of vulnerability he refused to show. How could a man who ran away leave such a deep mark?“Sir?”The voice of my butler, Harold,

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   An Unclaimed Heart

Fernando’s POV Evening covered the villa in shadows as I stood by the open balcony door of my private study, staring into the darkened gardens below. The night air was cool, with the kind of chill that stuck to the skin, reminding you you were alive. A single glass of bourbon sat untouched on the mahogany desk behind me, its amber hue glowing softly under the golden lamp. I hadn't taken a sip. Not since I had come back from the conference room.Archer's voice still lingered in my mind, like the last notes of a melody refusing to fade."I want us to be something real, Fernando."He had said it with that piercing gaze of his, the kind that didn’t waver, didn’t plead. It just... expected honesty. Expected something from me I wasn’t sure I had to give.Real. Serious. A relationship.I exhaled slowly and leaned on the cold metal railing, the distant hum of crickets filling the silence around me. I was Fernando Ramirez, a Mafia Don. The man people feared, the man no one dared questi

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Annabelle's Cold Words

Michael’s POV The lunch rush had finally died down.Steam no longer flew from the espresso machines and the once roaring murmur of customers had gradually shifted into a gentle hum of conversations and clinking cups. The café smelled of toasted bread, vanilla, and burnt milk—the familiar scent of fatigue and effort. I wiped my hands on a towel and leaned against the counter, my eyes scanning the remaining customers out of habit more than necessity.Across from me, Ivy sat on a barstool, nursing an iced mocha with two extra pumps of caramel. Her dark hair was tied up in a loose bun, and strands had fallen across her cheek from the sweat of the midday madness. She looked exhausted, but the kind of exhausted that made someone human, not broken."That was brutal," she said, taking another sip. "My knees are going to go for a vacation tomorrow."I chuckled. "You held your ground better than Liam. He nearly dropped a tray of cappuccinos on that couple in the corner."Ivy smirked. "Th

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   The Fire in the Boardroom

Fernando’s POV It was a Tuesday morning when the boardroom erupted into flames. The clock on the wall ticked louder than usual as I took my seat at the head of the massive conference table. Thirteen chairs surrounded it, all filled with members of the board, stiff in their tailored suits, their expressions carved from stone. I could feel their eyes on me. It was sharp, judgmental, unimpressed.I knew why we were here. They weren’t even trying to pretend otherwise."Let’s get to it," Philip Statham, the COO, began, folding his hands on the table. His beard twitched with restrained irritation. "Fernando, it’s time we address the elephant in the room."I leaned back, crossing my arms over my tailored navy blazer. "You’ll have to be more specific. Is it the quarterly numbers or the champagne bill from my last client dinner?" I said in a tone that was meant to be funny. No one laughed. Not even a chuckle. I glanced around, noting the tight lips, the narrowed eyes and the clenched jaw

  • Dark Possession: Bound To The Mafia Don   Unseen Scars

Michael’s POV I didn’t sleep well. Not because I couldn’t—but because I wouldn’t let myself. The quiet hum of Ashley’s apartment felt louder than ever. I sat curled up in the farthest corner of her walk-in closet, the same place I had hidden while Fernando stood in the doorway and poured his heart out.I had heard every word. The worst part? I almost believed him.His voice hadn’t sounded like the ruthless Mafia Don people feared. There was something raw in it—something cracked and uncertain. He wasn’t begging, but he wasn’t demanding either. He was…human. But I didn’t come out.I didn’t trust myself.Because if I had looked him in the eyes and seen regret written all over his face, I might have run to him.And I couldn’t afford that. Not again.By the time I did manage to close my eyes, it was already morning. And by the time I finally rolled out of bed, it was way too late."Shit."I scrambled off the bed like it had burned me, searching the floor for my clothes and phone at the
