概要

Fast-Paced Plot

Werewolf

Vampire

Forbidden Love

Hate to Love

Twisted

For three centuries, the Silvertooth Pack and the Obsidian Coven have been locked in a brutal war of attrition. Born as binary opposites, their hatred is an evolutionary design dictated by an ancient prophecy: when the Blood Eclipse darkens the sky, the Lycan Alpha and the Vampire Commander must meet at the summit to tear each other’s throats out, leaving only one sovereign to rule the scarred valley. Astrid Moonvael is the newly crowned Alpha of the wolves. Burdened by her father’s assassination and a grieving pack, she has hardened her heart into a fortress of survival and duty. Her destined executioner is Carmilla Dracul, the lethal Grand Commander of the vampire vanguard, whose cold blade has carved through generations of Astrid's kind. But when a border skirmish triggers a catastrophic cave-in, the rivals are trapped together deep within a forgotten subterranean cavern. Forced into a tense truce to survive environmental hazards and monstrous threats, the cracks in their armor begin to show. Beneath venomous barbs and clashing steel, they discover a mirror image of their own grief, isolation, and heavy crowns. As destiny continuously forces them together across moonlit galas and chaotic battlefields, the unthinkable happens. The instinctual hatred designed by their bloodlines cracks, giving way to an intoxicating, forbidden love that burns hotter than any ancient feud. With radical pack elders plotting mutiny and ruthless vampire councils demanding execution, their bond is absolute treason. As the Blood Eclipse approaches, Astrid and Carmilla are cornered by the very factions they were born to lead. Faced with the ultimatum to fulfill the prophecy or be destroyed, they make a final, defiant choice: they will tear down the fabric of fate itself.

Prologue The Blood Compact

The ink that bound the Silvertooth Pack and the Obsidian Coven was not made of soot or charcoal, but of cold, stagnant death.

For three hundred years, the boundary line between the Whispering Woods and the Jagged Crags had been a scar across the valley.

To the north lay the wolves—creatures of muscle, ash, and shifting silver fur, ruled by the laws of the moon and the fierce heat of the pack bond.

To the south lay the vampires—immortal lords of shadow, elegance, and frozen marble spires, driven by an insatiable hunger and governed by absolute, bloodstained law.

They were binary opposites. Fire and ice. Life in its rawest, loudest form against death wrapped in velvet and silk.

According to the ancient texts kept in the subterranean archives of the Grand Library of the Coven, their hatred was not a choice; it was an evolutionary design.

The cosmos itself demanded balance, and so it had forged two apex predators to occupy the exact same territory.

For centuries, the treaty held only because the casualties of breaking it were too absolute to endure.

It was a cold war maintained by a fragile piece of parchment known as the Blood Compact.

But treaties are written by the living, and the living are fragile things.

Beneath the heavy canopy of the ancient pines, a young Astrid Moonvael stood beside her father, the reigning Alpha.

She was only twelve winters old, her inner wolf nothing more than a restless spark in her chest, but she already understood the scent of the enemy.

It smelled of ozone, dead winter frost, and a sickeningly sweet undercurrent of ancient iron.

Across the stone altar that marked the exact center of the neutral territory stood the Vampire King, flanked by his highest nobles. Among them was a young girl, no older than Astrid in appearance, though her porcelain skin and perfectly still posture betrayed an immortal nature.

Her hair was as dark as a starless night, and her eyes—a striking, unnatural crimson—locked onto Astrid's amber gaze.

That girl was Carmilla Dracul.

"Look at them, Astrid," her father had whispered, his voice a low, rumbling growl that vibrated through the earth beneath their boots.

"Never look away. They do not breathe. They do not feel. They are parasites on the fringe of the living world. The moon gave us these lands to protect. One day, the compact will fail. When that day comes, you must be ready to rip the throat from the one who wears the Dracul crest."

Across the clearing, Carmilla’s mentor was whispering similar venom into her ear.

"The mutts are growing restless, child. Look at how they twitch, how they sweat. They are slaves to their impulses, no better than rabid hounds. When the Blood Eclipse arrives, the prophecy dictates that their blood will water our gardens. Remember the Alpha's line. Eradicate them all."

Neither child spoke. They simply stared at one another across the stone altar, two weapons being forged in separate fires, destined to clash until one shattered.

The prophecy was clear, etched into the very stones of the valley by a dying seer centuries ago: When the moon bleeds into the shadow of the earth, the silver beast and the shadow blade shall meet at the summit.

From their final strike, only one sovereign shall rise to claim the valley, and the other shall feed the soil.

Sixteen years later, the Blood Compact was nothing more than ashes.

Astrid’s father was dead, assassinated in a targeted ambush that bore the unmistakable, precise execution of the Obsidian Coven.

Carmilla’s sire had been torn to ribbons in retaliation, his remains scattered across the silver-poisoned borders of the pack's territory.

The fragile peace had collapsed into an era of brutal guerrilla warfare, skirmishes in the dark, and an ever-climbing body count.

Astrid Moonvael was no longer a curious child. She was the Alpha. Her silver fur was stained with the blood of her enemies, her heart hardened into a fortress of duty and grief.

She carried the weight of her entire pack on her shoulders, and her inner wolf howled for vengeance every time she looked toward the southern mountains.

And in the high towers of the Obsidian Coven, Carmilla Dracul had ascended to the rank of Grand Commander, her rapier dripping with lycanthrope blood, her heart as cold and unyielding as the stone walls of her castle.

The stage was set. The valley was a powder keg, waiting for a single spark.

The heavens were already shifting, the stars aligning to bring forth the fated Blood Eclipse.

They were born to kill each other.

They were raised to hate each other.

Every law of nature, every drop of blood in their veins, and the very fabric of destiny itself demanded their mutual destruction.

But destiny, it seemed, was a cruel and playful thing.

It did not account for the fact that sometimes, when two fires meet, they do not extinguish one another.

They burn the world down together.
