CHAPTER 57

As soon as we got downstairs, all of my warriors were waiting for me and we started running towards the edge of town.

It would be a lot faster to get there in wolf form because we didn’t have to stick to the roads and we could take a lot of shortcuts.

We needed to take as many shortcuts as possible if we were going to get to the Red River Pack in Kentucky, before it was completely wiped out.

Lucas and I led the warriors through the woods and we didn’t know the area, but we had a sense of where we were going.

By the time we got close enough to hear the fighting, we were already running over dead bodies from the pack.

We assumed that this was their border and the vampires had broken through already.

By the time we got into the pack, we realized how small it was.

The houses were more like tents and they were living a very primitive lifestyle. They definitely weren’t a threat so why the hell would the vampires worry about this pack.
