C H A P T E R - 2

Sanyukta...

We were on all the way to Italy.Well we were riding on the car continuously for last 8 hours causing me feel nausea.I hate car journeys.

It was the worst idea to journey by car,I cursed myself for it.

And the second thing I was tired and starving.I had nothing

so my empty stomach was doing summersaults.

"Tani...I am damm hungry plz lets feast on something before

we head forward,''I pouted and Tani signalled the driver.I love this girl when she obeys me without any argument that happens rarely.

'' Vi preghiamo di portarci in un ottimo ristorante italiano''

( please take us to a fine Italian restaurant)

I was amazed by her fluent Italian assent.''wow Tani...I must say

you are good in terms with linguistic.''

"I roam my ass around the world most of the time of the year.. morever I am born and brought up here.."she told me proudly.

Soon the driver halted the car near a typical Italian restaurant.I loved the rustic small Italian style of the place.The delicious aroma filled my nostrils.My stomach growled in hunger.

''So what do you want San..there are a variety of pizza..it is my favorite food corner in Italy.''Tani said flipping the menu card once we took our seat beside the glass wall.I could see the road and vehicle passing by.

''whatever you want Tani I just want to give peace to my

restless hunger.''I replied..actually unlike others I am not

very fond of Pizza rather love pasta.

''I know San..you are not in a good term with pizza so I am ordering Prosciutto with extra cheese for you,''.I just nodded because I have no idea about that alien dish!I chuckled on

my own.

'' Vi prego di portare Pizza Margherita per me e Prosciutto per lei.''she ordered the waiter.

''Mam Cosa vuoi in dessert?''the waiter humbly asked Tani.

''ummm... Tiramisu per entrambi''she replied politely.

All this while I was just a mere spectator or listener because I didn't understand a bit of what they were talking.

Soon we are served with our brunch...and we feasted on it like wild hyenas.I must say the alien dish was really tasty.

After having our delicious meal we again started our journey to Venice."Tani why Venice I mean there are other beautiful cities

in Italy..hmm..I mean Venice is like Khajuraho of India,''I said thoughtfully because I am not fond of Historical

places at all.

''How do you know about khajuraho babe...bdw its a worth visiting place...the beautiful nude sexual posed idols...,''she said shamelessly.

''Jeez...Tani do not make fun of sacred place..can you think something else than sex.''I rolled my eyes.

''You will also love this forbidden subject soon baby,''she teased

me.

''Love is not meant sexual activities for me..it is just spritual,''I glared her hard.''Ohh Gosh...you are a old spirit in a modern girl.''Tani smirked."Btw I have some assignments also because I want to organize a fashion show in Venice so my busy brother can attend it as I am failed to bring him in Paris.."she answered and opened her tablet to work on her new designs.

I leaned on the window glass and chose to adore the city.

Soon we reached in the centre of the city...Venice.The car stopped at our hotel ''The Gritti Palace''



I was gazing the magnificent hotel with a aww..when Tani tugged me to step inside.I was checking its each and every corner like a kid who came to a fair first time.

''San please stop your checking session we are here for next ten days,''Tani whispered in my ear.

''But Tani its so costly,''I was still in a daze.'' Yaa my brother is

a regular visitor here.''your brother...?''I narrowed my gaze at her still not believing that her brother is a millionaire. 

''He is one of the richest man of Venice.''she said casually but this piece of news gave me 440 volt shock.

''What did you think my brother supposed to be a 'Gondolier' here,''she laughed at me.''Come San we should take some rest..there is a party in the evening thrown by my brother....

May be your Mr. True lover meet you there,''she again teased me.

"You never told me about your brother being a rich businessman.."I threw the question on her after checking in.

"Because you never asked me.."she gave a plain reply.

I got my answer so decided to end the topic there.

We entered in our lavish room sealed with all luxuries.



I threw myself on the soft cozy bed..my muscles were badly paining.Soon I drifted of to sleep may be due to the ever soft matrass.

'Urghhhh...I'll kill you one day Tani for disturbing my sleep,''I

cursed Tani who shouted near my ears causing me to woke

up with a jolt.

''You know very well Tani that I love sleeping most in the world,''I groaned in irritation. 

''Madam you are snoring like a rhino since last 4 hours..its already 5:30 pm and our beauty queen takes at least 3 hours to get ready if I am not wrong,''Tani said keeping her hands

on her waist.

''Whatever''I rolled my eyes.''San..please wear your sexiest dress..may be you can get a golden chance.''Tani winked at me.

''I am joking babe..its a high class party and my brother's so called rich companions either businessman or artist are coming...''she replied putting her head into my lap.

''Your brother loves painting!!I mean he is a business tycoon..right,''I was again amazed by the secrets of her brother.

''He is an amazing painter indeed San..its his first love just like you love engineering right.''she cleared my doubts."But after our parent's demise he bore their responsibilities in a very young age and forgot his passion of becoming a painter."Her eyes shone pain for her elder brother.

Though I never got a chance to meet her brother still I felt bad for him.I could understand how it feels when someone has to give up his/her dreams for the sake of their loved one's

''San now don't waste time may be tonight will be proved the turning point of your life.Trust me life always surprises you."

She said keeping the essentials I would need later in the evening.Her words meant something deep that made my thought overpowered.
