A new trouble

Adele's POV 

"Ade!" Victor called me softly. I admit his handsome features and magnetic voice sometimes makes me shiver.

Stupid! You are married!!

To that husband who never appeared!

Meeting him was better than meeting a mafia gang leader though....

I shook my head to clear all the stupid thoughts. I looked at him with a smile.

"I don't think it is a good idea to move alone at least now. You may have risks." His voice was not so friendly neither so scary.

He is right! There is a serious risk. Last night I was so scary. I don't know what will I do it someone bothers me without any reason. But I needed then to reach me. After all, they will lead me to that 'Sam'. 

I was so happy when they chased me. 

Stupid man! Ruined everything. 

"Err...actually I just joined a new job yesterday. Can't take leave today. So....." That was a great excuse.

"That's risky." His tone was colder than before. 

Overbearing!

"I can manage." I said annoyingly. I never listened to others, not even my family. Then I wouldn't  be here to become someone's unwanted bride. 

"So stubborn. " He commented. 

"Since childhood." I smirked. I could sense his anger. He just huffed being annoyed. 

"Where will I drop you?" He asked irritatingly. 

"To the race track. My porsche is still there." I smiled sweetly. I am sure he wanted to tear my mouth to get rid of that forced smile.

After dropping me there, he looked at me carefully. Sighing a little he said, "Take care. I will manage everything. They won't bother you." 

Seriously!!

Then how would I reach my gaol??!

But nothing to do. He won't leave them. After all, a mafia king got attacked. But I think we need to meet again. His whole team just got in a rush because of no reason.

After bidding him goodbye, I took the car to my apartment and parked it. It was my playmate, my courage evertime I feel myself alone. It was the only thing from which I ask for time. 

I went to my apartment and freshened up.. All the incidents last night didn't give me a chance to breath. When got ready for office, I sensed some people's presence nearby. I was actually confused. Wasn't that party still facing yesterday's consequences? Then who would be the people to bother me now? 

When I reached the drawing room, I found a black suited handsome man in his 20's followed by another blad waiting for me. So I was right! They broke into my house. How did they managed to get my password?! 

"Excuse me, who are you? How did you get in?" I asked raised an eyebrow. 

"Adele Wilson. Age 21. Recently resigned from Woods Group of Companies. Right?"

Hey man!!! You broke into my house and asking for my confirmation?

"Seems like you have come after research. But please update yourself. I've got a new job." I said with a smirk.

Seriously! How could they took it out of list when it was the first time I used someone's recommendation letter?

"Doesn't matter. You need to go with us. Boss sent us for you." He stated.....kinda softly?

Boss? Now who the hell was his boss?? But seriously these two will take me??!

"Only you two?" I asked for confirmation. 

"Believe in our strength. We are enough to take you  from here. But we don't want to force you. Come with us or else...." He couldn't even finish I snorted, " Else what?? Will you kidnap me?" 

Does he know what's he going to suffer by kidnapping me? Nobody wants want bad for ownself.

"You can say that." He was confident.

I'm not quite sure about that. But I was confirm, I'm going to miss my office on the second day only because of him. Correction, because of his boss. I seriously want to meet that boss, whose people are capable enough to break into my apartment. 

"Going to office. Come after the office hours end. Then I will think about it.I don't want to get fired just after joining." But what to do? I was stubborn since childhood.

"Then I think we need to take you forcefully. " He smirked.

I huffed in annoyance. If he is that irritating, I wonder what a piece of work his boss would be!

Didn't I just say interesting?

Well interesting and irritating both!

"Look it's not that I don't want to go with you. I just need to go to office. If I lose the job, someone will kill me. Believe me, I will get a tsunami. Try to understand. If I lose the job, what will I eat then??" I think it was fun to irritate him.

"You are too stubborn. I'm sorry I need to force you now." He sighed.

"Seriously! Don't you think you are too polite? Asking permission before kidnapping!" I was seriously impressed by his behaviour. He started to come towards me. I didn't know what to do actually. He was just staring at his actions. When he was just one feet away from me, I noticed some cards came from nowhere before he could do anything and attacked on their spine. Both of them fell on the ground. 

Shit! I was afraid of this. 

I'm screwed. Now I am going to get scolded. 

But before I could get anything, I started to doze off.
