Darkness in our life

At a old house,

"Ahhhh!" a man was screaming continuously due to whipping. His voice started to become faint with every whip. 

"Plz....let me.. go..." He managed to say that in between the pain.

"Why? does it hurt?" Xavier laughed mockingly and whipped him more ruthlessly.

"Ahhhh!"

"No!"

"Pl...ea..se.." 

No one cared about those screaming. If they cared, it was only their boss's order.

"Let me go, please." The faint voice pleaded again.

"You should have thought about that before bribing someone in changing the materials. " Xavier was not getting any fun in whipping now. So he tied the scary and bloody body with chain. He took a finger cutter from the drawer. With a clack sound, his fingers started to fall on the ground.

He needed to treat him best. After all, it was his boss's order.

Knight Enterprises 

In the meeting room,

A man was sitting with a furiciously cold face. His piercing gaze was giving everyone cold sweat. Though he was not looking at his anyone, they were shivering in fear. 

The sudden notification on his phone traced a flash of satisfaction in his eyes. Then he roared, "How did the construction materials change?" His voice was calm but that calmness was as cold as iceberg.

Standing under the pressure of his intense and stern gaze, Mr. Lynn, the construction manager was stammering, "I...I..don....t...don't....kno...w."

His face changed in a darker shade that brought chills to everyone's spine. Without the slightest movement of his furicious gaze, he guestered his assistant to show the proves.

Mr. Lynn never assumed he was caught long ago and the CEO was just playing along with him. Seeing the proves, he was almost having a panick attack.

"Sorry...Sir.. I was" He was finding excuses but the cold face made him flinch.

"Make sure to send him in jail." Hearing the decision, everyone shivered. The CEO was the another form of devil monster. He never showed mercy. Punishment was the only reward to the people who mess with him. And he gladly granted the reward to each and everyone.  

After the guards dragged Mr. Lynn out of the meeting room, his eyes trailed everyone's shivering face slowly. He sensed their fear and became satisfied. 

"So who of you want to follow that man?" His voice was making hard for them to sit there calmly. Of course no one was willing to go to jail. They didn't utter a single word. Even they held their breath not to make any mistakes.

"Try to violate rules, I will make sure to send you to him." Warning sternly dismissed the meeting. After his departure, everyone sighed a breath of relief and wiped the sweat of forehead. 

"What's the schedule today?" He asked in a calm tone as if nothing happened in the office just now.

"A interview for newcomers and lawyer Daniel's appointment. " Ryan also got used to talk in short form after his job of being the cold CEO'S assistant. He also borrowed some of his coldness what is used to turn into sweat in front of him. 

"Ask vice president for the interview. I will meet the lawyer after lunch." He instructed Ryan and he executed each of his instructions like an obedient assistant. 

After Ryan left, he took out his phone and looked at the notification again. 

"BOSS, MR. ANDERSON IS HALF DEAD. HIS FINGERS ARE CHOPPED OFF ." 

He curved his mouth upwards with sneer. The man challenged him in the game where he was the creator. Too bad!!

After keeping the phone on the desk, he was lost in thoughts. He closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened it with a trace of tiredness. He was indeed tired of his robotic and mechanical life, business and ruthlessness. Tired of running away from his own personal life, tired of being heartless. But it was a great sin for him to show others his tiredness and softness. Since the second he would choose to grow weaker, he would start to be defeated. Sighing deeply, He looked at the watch and opened his laptop to drown himself into the world of works.
