"What if I don't sign?"
Albert tightened his fist, his muscles tensed. He worked hard to rebuild the Knight Enterprises. Maybe he had another businesses, but this was the closest to him. He couldn't afford to lose it.
"Afraid?" Adele mocked his vulnerability. She smirked while going through the papers again. She didn't care about his property or name. But she was also not ready to sign those papers only for his happiness. Of course he didn't treat her well.
"What's your connection with Elijah Wilson?" He again asked in a stern voice.
"And why are you so concerned about him?" She also raised her voice.
Albert was shocked to see her shouting. She never did it before. He looked at those papers once again. He took some deep breaths to calm himself. Then said softly, "If you don't want to sign, then don't. No force."
