Chapter Fifty One

Rebeccas POV

It had been almost two weeks since we got home, and we were all a bit antsy. Ivan and the research team hadn't uncovered much about the amulet, except that it had elemental ties. I had faith in my pack though. Everyone took training very seriously, and we had incredible warriors. While we were all still on edge, knowing we were a target for an attack, we had unanimously decided it was unhealthy to dwell on it. We trained hard, took precautions, and ran drills, but other than that we tried to keep our day to day as normal as we possibly could to keep up morale.

This included our wedding. I had tried to convince John to push back the date until all this was over, but he insisted. He refused to let Claude have the power of putting our whole lives on hold.
