Ava's POV:

Things are going well, and I am getting used to the mate bond. Noah is on his best behaviour but is slightly overprotective. That is given considering he is my mate, and it would be a lie if I did not admit that I almost scared the female wolves who were ogling Noah when he passed by.

He is mine and mine alone. Noah taught me how to pull up my mental wards, how to connect with the wolf, and how to understand each other.

Once, Ersa and Adam had a race, and guess what Ersa won. I heard Adam was the fastest wolf around, but Ersa beat him to it. And Adam was not angry or irritated that Ersa won; instead, I saw pride in his eyes.
