The Day of the War

Ava's POV:

I look at myself one last time in the mirror, tucked with armor, my face so confident as if I knew I was going to win the war but feared losing my people. Without bloodshed, there is no war.

The best and least easiest way to finish the war is to get the opponent, and it is not easy to get to the head of the war on both sides. The main members are always guarded by a bunch of soldiers and the best-trained members.

I plan to get to Xavier as early as possible and end this war soon.

I looked outside the window and found my mate, Noah, gathering all the elderly, kids, and non-participants of war in the front yard.

A fond smile formed on my face. I am doing this for him as well, for the kid who lost his mother. I really love him, but even once, I have not said it out loud to him. Once the war is done, I will tell him how much I love him.

"Mate, we are ready and waiting for you," Noah told me.
