Chapter 1

A drop dead gorgeous African american rushed into a preschool frantically running to the principal's office. 

Immediately she got to the door of the principal's office, she saw a scene that broke her heart into pieces. 

A little girl sitting on the visitors chair looking down with her teacher standing closer to her and the principal looking at her. 

A couple and another little blonde girl with hair looking like a bird nest walked out nearly pumping into her.

The woman with her platinum blonde hair wearing a ridiculously expensive knee length red bodycon and a black cotton blazer on it glared at her and was about to yell at her but the man glared at her immediately making her shut up as she threw a disgusted look at her. 

"Am so sorry Miss Maya Morganza." The man apologized. "I know Billie can be a bully at times but this time it got out of hand but don't worry....... We have it all straightened out and I apologize again on my daughter's behave. " 

"It's alright Mr Decker and am sorry for arriving late but since both had apologized to each other then I see no problem with you apologizing. Besides, they are kids and kids at their age fight. " She said and the man nodded but the lady glared at her and she ignored her. "I better go see her. " 

The man nodded and dragged his sulking daughter out with his angry wife following. 

Maya entered the principal's office and sat down facing him. 

"As we discuss on the video call, we are never sorry for all that happened..... Nora is a very calm and understanding girl but there is a limit to everything and I just today was the day and thank you from not blowing this out of proportion like most parent would have if the role were reverse. " The principal said and Maya shook her head and turned to he daughter who was looking at her with her cute adorable blue eyes which always reminded her of HIM. 

She stood up and kneeled to her level and immediately she saw her mother, she stretched out her hands to her andaya scooped up her baby and moved out of the preschool into her car and she tucked her in carefully at the back seat and drove out towards her apartment. 

The journey back home was a silent one as she knew the car wasn't the right place for any form of confrontation. 

Half an hour since they drove from the school, she got to a post apartment building and drove right under it where the parking lot was located. 

She moved out together with her baby and into the elevator and up to her apartment. 

Immediately she opened the door, a squealed resounded in the apartment and Nora rushed up to the person and she scooped her into her arms and showered her with kisses making Nora giggle. 

"I miss you so much aunt Mimi. " Nora exclaimed enthusiastically. 

"Me to my little muffin and since it's Saturday tomorrow, we will go out to get some ice cr....... " Mimi paused seeing her eyes and immediately knew only crying could have caused this and she looked at her mother. "What happened? " She asked but got no response. " Are you going to answer me or keep gawking at me. " She yelled out. 

"Don't shout at mummy....... It's all because of me. " Nora revealed shocking her aunt. 

"Nora!" Maya called out and she turned to her. "Go and change into something more comfortable while I speak to your aunt. "

Nora like the obedient daughter, nodded and Mimi placed her down as she rushed to her room to change. 

Immediately she was out of sight, Maya signalled Mimi to sit. 

"Explanation." 

"I was at work when the principal of her preschool called saying she beat up one of her classmates who happens to be Britney, the daughter of Mr Decker your boss. " Maya revealed shocking Mimi. 

"That's impossible....... Our Nora never fights and am sure that little blonde devil is lying because she is no different for her racist ass of a mother and sometimes I believe Mr Decker was forced to marry that racist piece of shit. " Mimi defended but Maya shook her head. 

"She did really fight Britney. " Maya revealed and Mimi looked at her in shock and disbelief. "But she was provoked by Britney who kicked her that her father didn't like her and that's why he abandoned us and I was a whore. " Mimi gasped in shock hearing this. 

"That child is just four years old and she is spewing such venom...... Why am I even surprised...... She is the daughter of that racist piece of shit but on a more serious not, don't you think it's about time David knows she exists? " Mimi asked. "She need a father in her life at this moment."

An Maya was furious hearing her and she stood up in anger making Mimi gulp in fear. 

"That monsters is not coming anywhere near my daughter...... We are orphans and grew up I  the worst foster home but we turned out just fine......... My daughter doesn't need that monster in her life. " Maya yelled out in anger at Mimi. 

"Sorry." Mimi held up her hand in defeat. "I didn't mean to reopen old wounds....... I didn't mean to make you upset. " Mimi apologized making Maya feel bad for yelling at her. 

"I am the one who is supposed to apologize....... I yelled at you for just speaking your mind but please don't bring that man's name up again especially when Nora is around........ She has never asked about him and it will stay that way. " 

JFK AIRPORT. 

David looked out of his jet as it landed on the tarmac of the airport straight into his private hanger, a privilege only a few in the world enjoy. 

"Douglas! " He called out to his personal assistant who was vigorously tapping on his laptop but immediately put it away hearing his boss call out to him. "Brief me again about her. " He said and Douglas nodded and took out a file. 

"She works at Sephora as a manger and lives with her best friend name Mimi Jackson who works as an assistant to a one Mr Decker of Decker construction and has a three years old daughter by name Nora Ariel Morganza. " 

Douglas closed the file and looked st his boss who was relaxing in his seat with his eyes closed. 

"So this is the woman who conquered the great David Gandy......... Not bad. " He thought looking at his boss. 

The door of the jet opened breaking their reverie and David stood up and out if the jet into the SUV waiting for him. 

"To Oaks Apartment. " He commanded and the driver nodded and drove out of the airport. 

"Am coming my love........ We have a lot to talked about. " He thought as he looked out of the window.
