XXXI. The Monarch

Ferdinand was restless for some reason he couldn't explain. As if something was about to happen, seeing his expression, Eden couldn't stand it any longer. 

“You looked a mess, uncle. Shouldn't you be happy Farrah and her husband's alive? Why look bothered?” She too have heard about the news of Farrah and Dior being alive. At first, she thought Ferdinand had gone mad due to grief, but when she heard the recording of the call from the night before, she immediately burst into tears.

She was beyoned overjoyed. Farrah's her best friend, she's almost like a sister to her and the news of her passing threw her off that she couldn't work for several days.

She thought about Farrah's unfortunate luck, and couldn't help crying again several times.
