Jennifer smiled at Alpha Mark, “Thank you so much. You just saved me.”

He frowned. “Saved you?”

“I-I mean, I would become a disgraceful woman if no one got to know about my marriage. But you saved me.”

“Alright, you can go now. Stay with Raymond always and focus on your second deal,” Alpha Mark stated.

Jennifer rose from her seat and exited the office. As she made her way toward Raymond’s room, she crossed paths with Sandra. Jennifer greeted her with a smile, and Sandra returned the gesture. Finally, Jennifer arrived at the room and entered.

“Guess what?” She said excitedly.

She saw him lying in the bed, and his eyes were closed.

“He agreed?” Raymond let out.

It was not a question but an answer. He knew Alpha Mark would agree with it.

“Yeah.” She replied, losing her excitement.

Sitting on the couch, Jennifer spent the entire day watching Raymond as he slept, lost in a deep slumber. In the evening, Robin returned and administered liquid nutrition to him.
