Jennifer stared at Alpha Mark. She was feeling terrible for Raymond. She was thinking about how he would feel when he got to know that his parent's death was not an accident but a pre-planned murder.

She was familiar with the feeling. Her stepmother did the same with her father. So she could feel the pain.

"Because of our greed, you killed your own brother!" Jennifer muttered.

Alpha Mark scoffed at her words. "My brother? I never considered him as my brother. My parents always give him the choice to decide. Why? Why didn't they give me the throne? I am their younger son. They never considered giving it to me. They said it was a law to give the throne to the older son. My brother was a foolish man. He believed me so much that he could not realize what I was doing to him. I was the one who called the Silver Moon pack for an attack. But they were lucky enough to stay alive."

Jennifer shook her head. She had no words to describe her emotions. It would not help her in this situation, eithe
