Jaxson POV

“I’m not sure, let me text Jasmine…” Damian and I slipped quietly back into the suit so we were not seen. Damian slipped his phone out and began texting Jasmine before putting it on vibrate and setting it on the coffee table.

“Maybe he just wanted to avoid a crowd or -” Damian’s phone shook the glass top of the table, interrupting me. My cells were itching forward to see what she said. Not in fear but in excitement. This is the type of shit I love. Spontaneous and using your brain.

“She said she was unaware of why he arrived early but apparently her staff got the call an hour ago that he would be here and she was busy making sure accommodations were ready. Her staff got busy and forgot to call her to let her know.” Damian said with a frown.

“I could see that. Her staff is trained well and knew what needed to be done to make sure he was happy when arrived. They did mess up by not calling her but still handled it correctly.”
