Jaxson POV
Mason and I got to the ball early as I wanted to watch everyone come in. We were standing towards the middle by the dance floor by the wall. This place looked perfect. I really like the contrast between the colors and everything looks elegant. Whoever designed this has a knack for this sort of thing. Usually, Luna does this kind of thing so maybe she did it. I had gotten my usual whiskey on ice and Mason had the same. We sipped on it as we watched the guest enter.
There were a few ladies that came in alone that Mason made a few comments about. They all looked nice but I was getting anxious to see Scarlet. To finally see her in person again would confirm everything. Officially tell me if she was the one in the photograph. A lot was riding on this.
