Chapter 22

Nicholas also told the bodyguards at his mansion to keep watch over Josh. Josh notices this. He peeps from the corner he is hiding and thinks of what to do. He sits on the ground and scratches his head. There are over ten bodyguards in the mansion and he doesn’t stand a chance against one of them. Apart from being werewolves, they are highly skilled martial artists. “What would they do to me if I get caught?” he thought. “This is a bad idea”. He leaves the place and heads to his house, planning to come another time; he has just two days left, or else his family will be gone.

Nicholas picks up his ringing phone, nods, and then puts it back in his pocket. They come out of the car and start to look everywhere, awaiting a minion.

“We should have brought the orb here”, Charlotte said. “It could drive them to us”.

“No. It’s too dangerous. We might lose it while fighting here. It’s in the safest place”, Nicholas said.

They wait for a minion to appear. Two minions appear and scream out loud.
