'Wife, I need to take care of something. I'll be back shortly' Miles had said to me with a worried look on his face as soon as he drove us into the house, and he drove off without even entering inside. I tried to get him to talk to me about what was going on, but he didn't say anything before he drove off, and it got me all worried over here.

"Do you need help with anything, ma'am?" Adelie asked as she walked into the living room where I was seated tiredly.

"Just get me a glass of water, please," I replied to her tiredly. My waist hurt so badly like I had a load on it, and I presumed it could be the pregnancy doing that to me.

"Here, ma'am," Adelie soon returned with the water and handed it to me.

"Thank you," I muttered as I took the glass from her and drank from the chilled water, just how I wanted it.

"Do you need help with anything else? Do you want me to massage your feet for you? You must be tired from the..."

"I'm fine, Adelie. You should get some rest too
