“They're three. Triplets. Arabella, Alexander and Asher.” Lucas felt as though his soul left his body when he heard Kate's words.

It felt as though time had stopped, the words sinking in Luca's skull in slow motion. Hard for him to believe what Katerina just said.

Not just one child. Three!

The new realisation didn't make him feel any better. It made him feel as though he was being suffocated with guilt. His mouth dry. Speechless. Not sure if he should apologise for missing out in the lives of the triplets.

Deep down, he knew no amount of apology would be enough. That was for sure. He thought that he had to make up for one child. The missed birthdays, holidays, father’s love.

However, it turns out that he has to make up for three. Not even a lifetime would be enough for him to make up for them. Not even if the heavens blessed him with a thousand years.

Hello Bunty, I understand your concerns. He knows how painful the subject is to Katerina. It's not that he doesn't care about the twins. He's approaching the subject with alot of caution. Another thing is, I had alot of ground to cover. I hope that explains. Thank you for the support:)
