Chapter 6 : The impending meeting.

"Yaay!!! We are going on vacation!" The twins yelled in excitement  when their granny announce of their trip to Santa Elena.

"Mummy are we going to meet Daddy there?" Moira asked her mother. Nicole and Helen exchange a secret look.

"I don't know sweetheart."  She replied hesitantly.

"But I thought you said that Daddy is working in that place?" Moira insisted.

"Yes... He is station there but... But he travels a lot, I'm not sure if he will be there when... When we reach there, that's right!" Nicole stutter as she finds words to convince her children.

She wanted to tell her children that their father is dead when they started asking about him, but she change her mind fearing that they might one day learn of the truth and hate her for lying, or they will be rejected by Tristan and disown them.

She thinks by this time  Samantha and Tristan might be having their own children as well.

"It doesn't matter Moi-moi I'm sure that we will enjoy ourselves even without him." Nicole was shocked at what her son declared. Obviously he has I'll feelings against their imaginary father.

"Mark..."

"Anyway we are not traveling together with your Mom because you have to attend one more day class before the break." Helen  put in to change the topic.

Despite her bitter experience with the twins' father, Nicole never wanted them to have bad feelings with their imaginary father that's why when the kids started asking for their father she told them that he works far away .

But her children are intelligent kids . Mark especially who grew up  to look more and more like the little Tristan Hewitt. While Moira inherited Tristan's grey eyes she had other features that look like the small Nicole.

The next day Nicole arrive in Santa Elena airport  she is waiting for her suitcase in the conveyor when she spotted the man she had not seen in years. She immediately  cover her face by raising the collar of her jacket, and averted her face she immediately pull her suitcase and walkout of the arrivals area.

She begun to worry that her ride has not yet arrived.  It was  just her luck that there were reporters outside the airport waiting to have an ambush interview with Tristan Hewitt that  she was able to avoid being seen by him or so  she thought.

But she is unaware that Tristan catch a glimpse of her while she was standing in the pavement waiting for her ride. He immediately tried to get away from the reporters but when he it was free from the reporters, it  was too late, she is nowhere to be seen..

It leaves him wondering if he had just mistaken her from another person. "Maybe I am mistaken." He told himself.

Tristan  did not go straight to his home but instead he check in himself to one of their newly acquired hotel.  He wanted to catch up with the meeting his assistant set for the day.

Eventhough he has the most competent assistant. Tristan make sure to personally meet their prospective partner.

The Moira's fashion collection  who deals with jewelries,  clothing  and accessories has been making waves abroad  his grandfather insisted that it was the best added attraction to their growing clientele. To have an exclusive contact with them in their city will assure more clients to visit their establishments, an increase of their income.

Tristan retrieving his laptop tried to bury himself with work left for his attention. But then his mind drifted back to the person he saw in the airport.

Was it really Nicole but she was believed to have died in that accident. Eventhough there was no body that was found in the accident site. 

He had been unable to marry  Samantha since there was no evidence that his first wife had died.

Jacob Hewitt his grandfather refused to believe that Nicole had died on that accident therefore he does not allow any move on his grandson  to marry his girlfriend. He insisted to live with them in Tristan's home to prevent them from marrying.  Going back and forth from his residence.

It altogether best for Sam and him Tristan  realized. After the dissapearance of Nicole, Samantha became less demanding on his time. 

It must be because after the miscarriage they were unable to conceived a child and Tristan suspected that she is unfaithful to him. Gone is the sweet but possessive and jealous nature that Sam displayed during his marriage to Nicole.

His phone rang and  his assistant called to remind him of the meeting they set to meet Nyx McBride the CEO and owner of the Moira's Fashion Collection, in ten minutes. 

Tristan look around the room there is still more time since the meeting is on the same building.

Nicole check in the hotel  that the company reserved for her. She was shocked to learn that the Hewitt's or rather Tristan's company own the place and so many developments had been achieved after she was gone. She just hope that she won't have the chance to meet the man during his stay in the hotel.

She wondered if Tristan took advantage of her absence and use her inheritance to add to his assets

She look at her watch that indicates it's about time  for her meeting with Charles Green.

Charles Green was not what she was expecting. She is used to meeting either an older man, or mature women  whose passion is into fashion and business. But the one in front of her was a young adult much like a few years older than her, good looking and appeared quite efficient.

"Good morning Miss McBride, I didn't expect that the mysterious owner of  Moira's fashion collection is quite young." He tried to open a conversation by complimenting Nicole.

"I would take that as a compliment. I must say I have the same expectations too. I didn't expect to meet someone as young as you Mr Green." She smiled.

"As  a matter of fact I am just standing in for my Boss. He is in the building he will be meeting you and discuss the offer." Just as he finished explaining  his phone rang.

"Hello Boss... " He excuse himself  to answer the call.

Nicole look around the room all she can see describe luxury. Did Tristan put into good use the inheritance she left?

A thought crossed her mind. "Is it time for her to claimed what is rightfully hers?" Not knowing that she is bound to meet the Tristan.
