“I'm fine.” I stepped out of the room, not wanting to think about the nightmare I just had. Derek had tried to be nosy, but I didn’t want to talk about it. Especially when he had spent the night out fucking other women. The bastard. “I just need to get away for a little while,” I muttered to myself as I quickly walked down the hallway. “Hey, where are you going?” Derek called after me, his voice harsh and biting. I walked even faster. “Just… somewhere!” I shouted back, not even bothering to look at him. “Just leave me alone!” “Celestia , wait!” he said, trying to catch up. “Fuck off, Derek!” I yelled, pushing the door open and stepping outside. I knew I shouldn’t have reacted that way, but the frustration bubbled up. I didn’t want to talk about my stupid nightmare or my father. I just wanted to leave before I punched the cheating bastard in the face. “What am I doing?” I thought, trying to catch my breath. “I can’t keep up with this shit.” But instead of turning back, I kept walking until I got a cab. “Nollaxia” I had heard about it sometime back and it was the heart of the city with all the hustle bustle. It was also the biggest club in Vegas As I approached the entrance, a bouncer nodded at me. “Your business here ma'am?” “Fun and some other things in between” “Well, you look ready to have some fun.” he said with a smile. Once inside, I was immediately caught up in the music. People were dancing everywhere, their bodies moving to the beat. I felt the tension from earlier begin to melt off. “Maybe this is what I need,” I said to myself, pushing my way further into the crowd. To hell with the bastard anyway. I didn't want to hang around him if he was too busy fucking other ladies. **** Meanwhile, Derek stood outside the hotel, still bothered as to why Celestia had left all of a sudden. When he was informed that she wasn’t coming back and had gotten into a cab, worry settled in. “Damn it!” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. “She shouldn’t be out here alone.” He quickly pulled out his phone. “I need the guards,” he said into the phone. “Have them follow Celestia . She’s left the hotel, and I want to make sure she’s safe.” “Do we follow her into the club sir?” the guard asked “Yes, I’m sure!” Derek snapped. “Just follow her, but keep it discreet. Don’t let her know. I want to ensure she doesn’t get into any sort of drama. Is that clear?” “Understood. We’ll watch her from a distance,” the guard confirmed before hanging up. **** Someone bumped into me, and I turned to see a group of girls laughing and dancing. “Hey! Join us!” One of them shouted over the music, pulling me along with them. Before I knew it, we all made our way to the stage. The DJ announced, “Next up, we’ve got a special dance!” “Why not?” I thought, excitement bubbling up. “Let’s pull this dance floor apart!” I climbed onto the stage, the crowd cheering around me. I began to dance, letting the music take control of my body. I didn't need all the stress this evening. “This is what I needed!” I yelled. As I danced, I noticed faces in the crowd, including some guys who were watching closely. One of them, a tall guy with dark hair, flashed me a charming smile. I couldn’t help but smile back. He was cute. “What’s your name?” he shouted over the music. “Lena!” I replied, I didn’t want to be Celestia today. It was better if I didn't give my real name. “Let’s dance!” he called, gesturing for me to join him. I shook my head playfully. “You’ll have to keep up!” I challenged, grinning at him. *** Back at the house, Derek paced nervously. “Where could she have gone?” he muttered, looking around. “She should be safe inside.” After a few minutes, he received a call from the guard he had sent. “Sir, we’ve located Celestia . She’s at a club called Nollaxia,” the guard reported. “Keep an eye on her,” Derek instructed, his tone broody. “And call me if anything seems off.” “Yes, sir. We’re watching her closely. Don’t worry,” the guard assured him before hanging up. *** At the club, my feet hurt but I kicked off my shoes. I wasn't ready to stop for the night just yet. “Show them what you’ve got, Lena!” one of the girls shouted from the side. How she got to know my name, I had no idea. I cat walked to the pole and spun around it. “Go gurlllll!” I grinned at them and did another twirl on the pole. “Let’s go!” I shouted back, performing moves that were perfect. All those years spent working in the club weren't going to waste. I caught sight of the guy who had been watching me earlier. He approached again. This time, his face was flushed and he was definitely drunk. He was leaning against the stage. “You dance really well!” he grinned as he took a sip from his drink. “Thanks!” I said, catching my breath. “I just love to have fun!” “You definitely have a knack for it,” he replied, his smile warm. “What brings you out here?” Was he trying to play mysterious? I could match him for that. “Just needed a break from everything! Sometimes you just have to get away,” I explained. “I get that. Wanna dance with me on the floor?” he asked, extending a hand. “Only if you're good enough to keep up. I've been here and the spotlight is all mine. I told you that earlier and I'm saying it again.” He grinned at me and he held his gaze at my chest. “I'm very sure I can. Now, how about I take you to the dance floor and we'll find out.” Well then, I had nothing to loose.Celestia ~I slowly opened my eyes, feeling heavy and confused. Blinking a few times, I tried to take in my surroundings, but everything felt a bit fuzzy. The first thing I noticed was the soft hum of a plane engine. A plane? Where am I? What the fuck was going on? The last thing I remembered was being so angry and then… My heart raced as I pushed myself up, trying to gather my thoughts. I glanced around the large cabin, and that’s when I saw him—Dmitri . He was sitting in a seat opposite me, his eyes glued to his laptop, fingers tapping away at the keys. “Dmitri ?” I croaked, my voice sounding hoarse. He looked up instantly, his expression shifting to concern. “Hey, you’re awake,” he said, leaning forward slightly. “Are you okay?” “Uh, where are we?” I asked, trying to shake off the lingering fog in my head. He stared at me for a moment, then asked, “Do you remember last night?” I frowned, trying to recall the events. The last thing I remembered was dancing at the club, but eve
Dmitri’s POV“You all are animals! I fuckin ha–”She went quiet all of a sudden and I snuck a glance at her only to find out that the little minx was fast asleep. Hmm interesting. So she was mad that I had gone out for a bit of fun when I was just running late from a meeting with that damned club owner. The car phone buzzed and I picked it up, eyes still on the road. “Boss.”“Yes?”“It turns out that Madam was with Miss Roxanne tonight and they had a few drinks in the hotel bar, went out and back into the hotel again.”So that's where the anger all bunched up from. She had been drinking with that sneaky little brat and Roxie had unknowingly upset her the more. Tch, she had walked right into that one. I picked up the phone and called the sneaky thing responsible for this. “Why hellooo brother.”“Sigh. I knew you'd be wide awake and grinning about the foolishness you've caused.”“Awwn. He's mad that I let his blushing bride walk around sad and drunk around Vegas. Tsk, you had it comi
Derek × Celestia~“Boss she's currently on the dance floor with some random man.”I felt a wave of irritation wash over me as the guard who was supposed to watch Tia was telling me she was dancing with some random fool. Did she really leave the house to go clubbing after having a nightmare? “Keep an eye on her. I'll be there in a few minutes.”I let the hotel and got into the car. “Nollaxia.” “Yes sir.”The little minx would explain if she thought being married to me was waltzing with anyone she liked. ***Celestia~I felt so carefree with the loud thumping music and didn't want to stop. To hell with Chris or whatever his name was. He could go around fucking like the playboy he was. I swayed to the beat of the music and was getting into it until the dude dancing with me got a bit… Too touchy. “Hey, hands off. That's wandering into territory that has no business with you.”He held my wrists tightly and I struggled with him. Everyone around us was so busy dancing, they didn't noti

Narrator~Back at Celestia ’s home, the atmosphere was anything but calm. The grand estate that had once felt comfortable and secure now had only chaos all over. Celestia ’s father stormed through the huge halls, his face flushed with rage. “Where is she?” he shouted, slamming his hand against a table, causing a crystal vase to topple over and shatter on the floor. “Sir, we are searching everywhere,” one of the guards said, his voice trembling slightly. “We haven’t found her yet.”“Not good enough! She needs to be found now!” Celestia ’s father yelled, his eyes flashing with fury. “Do you understand?”“Yes, sir,” the guard replied, bowing his head. “We’ll keep looking.”Celestia ’s father paced back and forth, frustration boiling over. “This is unacceptable! She can’t just run off like this! What does she think she’s doing?”“Sir, she’s—” the guard began, but he was quickly cut off.“Do not make excuses for her!” he shouted, pointing a finger angrily. “I don’t care what she thinks!
Celestia~After what seemed like hours, Roxanne had finally succeeded in dragging me through every shopping district I knew in Vegas and I was half delirious and at the verge of passing out. We had gotten to the hotel room and Roxanne had hesitated to go in but I grinned assuredly. “You can come in, he isn't in the room.”“Whew. I don't see why you aren't terrified of him in the slightest.”Oh I was. Terrified he would reject my proposal and find out who my father was but of him as a person? “Meh… He's not as scary as you think.”She gave me a look that would have easily passed off for, “excuse me, what the fuck are you saying.”“Hey. I'm being for real. He isn't scary. Just annoying as fuck.”“Damn! You are the first one to see him that way.”There was nothing scary about the man. Asides the fact that could be a bit too much, nothing ever made me see him in such a light. Father was far more menacing than him in so many ways. He seemed like a tame cat but then I barely knew him yet.
