Killian's Pov

It has been exactly five days and I haven't seen Lilith. My wife.

Not like I wanted to.

But it was as if she knew how to stay close without showing her face. And I liked that. I didn’t want to see her face.

For the last five days, work kept me alive. Going to the office. Finalizing deals. Closing things. Keeping busy so I wouldn’t think. Wouldn’t remember. Wouldn’t feel. But tonight, I needed a break. My head was full. My chest was heavier than usual.

I stared at the girl in front of me with a glass of whiskey in my hand. The drink burned the back of my throat. I took another sip. She was standing a few feet away, in a short black mini dress, heels that clicked against the tiles, and a look in her eyes that made her intentions clear. Seduction was her weapon tonight.

Music played in the background, something slow with a dirty rhythm.

I wasn’t the type to invite whores over to my house. I usually didn’t need to.

But tonight, I didn’t have the strength to go out. So I asked her to come.

She started dancing. Slowly. Moving her hips in time with the music. Her eyes never left mine. I didn’t move. I didn’t smile. I just watched her.

She turned around, ran her hands up her own body, and pulled down the zip at the back of her dress. It fell to the floor like nothing. She was wearing a matching undies set underneath. Tight on her skin and then she moved closer.

I leaned back on the couch and took another drink. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted her. I just didn’t want to feel empty.

She reached for the clasp of her bra.

And then the door opened.

I never locked my door. But nobody in this house dared to walk into my room without knocking. Nobody.

Until one human did. My so-called wife….Lilith

She walked in, holding a phone in her hand, immediately she saw the scene in front of her, She looked at me. Then at the girl.

Then back at me again.

The girl froze, quickly grabbing her dress and clutching it to her chest, covering herself like she had just remembered shame.

I didn’t even flinch.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, my voice cold.

Lilith didn’t blink. “My father said he’s been trying to contact you. You’re not picking up. He wants to have a meeting with you.”

“You can go now.” I waved my hand carelessly.

Lilith raised a brow. “I can go wherever I want. This is my house too.”

I didn’t respond. I just stared at her.

Her scar was visible. That thin line running down her neck, barely noticeable unless you were looking.

Her eyes, one the color of honey, the other grey. It used to throw me off. But now, it only reminded me of everything. The surgeries. The accident. The fact that she survived. That she was still here. That she ruined everything.

She should have died.

But instead, she became this….Beautiful. Too beautiful. Her eyes made her look like an angel sent down to earth.

But her beauty wouldn’t make me forget the truth.

She was a killer.

A monster.

She was Lilith.

“Leave my room,” I said.

She let out a soft laugh. Not loud. Not mocking. Just calm.

Then she walked across the room and sat beside me on the couch like she belonged there. She crossed her legs. Got comfortable. Reached for my glass and poured herself more whiskey like she had done it a thousand times.

The girl in front of me looked shaken. Still clutching her dress. “I should go,” she said quietly.

Lilith didn’t even glance her way. “No. You don’t have to go.”

“I really should,” the girl repeated, her voice small.

“What are you doing, Lilith?” I asked, staring at her.

She turned to me with a slow smile. “Husband. I can see you’re enjoying yourself here. Why don’t you both enjoy it together?”

Then she turned her head to the girl and said,

“Strip.”

It took me a second to process what she just said.

“Strip,” Lilith repeated, her voice steady, eyes calm.

I snapped out of my daze. “Stop this,” I said sharply, standing.

She turned to me slowly. “Husband, you don’t want to spoil the mood, right?” Her voice was light, playful… and dangerous.

Then she looked back at the girl. “You didn’t hear me? I said strip.”

The girl looked between us, clearly confused. Her gaze lingered on me, searching for a sign.

I gave a slow nod and sat down. I wanted to see where Lilith was going with this. I wanted to know what kind of game she was playing.

Lilith walked over to the bar, picked up my half-empty glass of whiskey and took a sip. Then she made herself comfortable in the armchair across from me. Her legs crossed, the short silk gown she wore slipping slightly to reveal more of her thighs. Not too short, not too revealing, but enough to make a man notice. She didn’t care.

The music got louder. The girl in front of us started to move her hips again, this time less confidently.

But I wasn’t watching her. I was watching Lilith.

She didn’t even blink. Her eyes were locked on the girl, cold and calm like she was watching a movie. What the hell is this? I thought.

“You’re missing the fun,” she said without looking at me. “Look at her.”

I turned my gaze back to the girl just as her hands moved behind her back. She unclasped her bra. Her breasts spilled out, round and soft, her nipples tight as she continued dancing to the slow beat. The bra fell to the floor.

She was nervous. I could tell. Not because she was naked. But because Lilith was watching her like she was studying a chess piece.

Still, she didn’t stop.

Then Lilith leaned forward, resting her elbow on the armrest. Her voice was soft but sharp.

“Come. Touch him.”

I stared at her. “Something must be wrong with you,” I muttered.

She tilted her head slightly, smiling like this was the most normal thing in the world. “Oh no, husband. Don’t be shy. This is what you wanted, right?” Her voice was sweet. Too sweet. “You’re going to get it.”

Then she turned back to the girl and said, “I don’t want to repeat myself. Come. Touch him.”

  • Dear Wife, I Hate You   Epilogue Cont'd

Lilith’s Pov The reception hall was like something out of a fairytale, glowing with lights, soft music floating in the air, and the laughter of people who loved us surrounding every corner. The theme colors were different from the night of our engagement—today was softer, calmer. Champagne gold and ivory, with tiny flickers of rose gold details that shimmered under the chandeliers.Killian’s hand found mine as we walked in, and even though we were married now, he acted like he was still trying to win my heart. He couldn’t keep his hands off me. He kept whispering in my ear, brushing my hair back, sneaking kisses against my cheek, and making me laugh at the most inappropriate moments.“Stop it,” I whispered, swatting his chest playfully as we walked up to the high table. He leaned in again. “Nope. You’re officially mine now again. I’m not behaving.”We barely made it through the first ten minutes without being stopped by well-wishers. Family, friends, guests I didn’t even remember mee

  • Dear Wife, I Hate You   Epilogue

Lilith’s POVIt was finally the day. And it was happening. After weeks of preparations, endless dress trials, indecisive flower choices, and Killian trying (and failing) to let me do anything alone — today was the day.Emily and Killian’s mom flitted around me like gentle butterflies as I sat in front of the vanity mirror, already dressed, already glowing.“You look so beautiful,” Killian’s mom whispered, her hands fluttering to her chest, teary-eyed.“I tell her that every day,” Emily said proudly, “She looks like a literal goddess.”I chuckled, brushing a stray curl from my cheek. “You two talk too much.”A soft knock came, and then the door opened.Killian’s father stepped in, dressed sharply in a cream suit. “Everyone’s waiting for you,” he said, and then paused, his eyes warming. “You look beautiful, my dear.”As he turned to leave, I called after him. “Hey… Richard?”“Yes?” he turned.I swallowed, my voice small. “Can I ask you for something?”“Anything.”I looked at him earnest

Lilith’s PovI picked the dress carefully. One of the newer ones I’d bought, it was deep red, hugged every curve, and had a slit so high it should be illegal. The material clung to my body like a second skin. My hair was still styled perfectly from earlier, and I touched up my makeup with a subtle shimmer. As I stepped out of my room, I nearly bumped into him in the hallway.Killian froze, eyes trailing from my feet to my neck like he was studying artwork.“Holy… Lilith.”He stepped closer, slow, deliberate. His hand found my waist as he dipped his head and kissed me—slow, passionate, like he needed to remind the walls that I was his.God, I could never get enough of this man.The kiss lingered, deepened, pulled me in until my hands were resting on his chest and my body leaned into his like a magnetic force. We finally broke apart, breathless.“You look…” he paused, eyes still devouring me, “unreal. Like if I blink, you might disappear.”I smiled, heat rushing to my cheeks. “You’re tu

Lilith’s Pov The past month has honestly been… the best phase of my life. I’m walking again…fully. No more cane, no more therapy appointments. My body feels like mine again. I’ve been painting nonstop. Commissions, gallery pieces, even custom portraits. I’m making actual income from something I love, something that makes me feel alive. And then there’s Killian. God. Killian. We’ve probably had sex over a thousand times this month, I’m not even exaggerating. Okay… maybe I am, just a little. But seriously, we can’t keep our hands off each other. We’re like magnets. At home, in the car, sometimes even in his office when I bring him lunch. It’s ridiculous… and addicting. Every time he touches me, I melt. Every time he looks at me like I’m the only woman in the world, I fall harder. I thought the spark would fade, but no. If anything, it’s growing stronger every damn day. But today was girls’ day. Finally. Emily, Polly, Bianca, Rose, Maya and I had been planning a full girls’ spa

Killian’s Pov“Do you want me to do something for you?” I asked quietly, leaning against the edge of the door.Lilith turned toward me, eyes glistening but unreadable. “No,” she said softly. “I just want you to stay with me. Do you have a problem with that?”I blinked. “No. I don’t have a problem staying with you.” My voice dropped. “I’ll stay with you all day, all night, if that’s what you want.”She gave me a small nod. “Okay.”It felt like a simple moment, but it was not. Not for me. Everything inside me was tangled up. My thoughts, my emotions, my instincts. I didn’t know what to do or say next, and yet… being near her, I didn’t want to leave. So I just walked in and sat down on the edge of her bed.It was quiet. She was looking at me. I could feel her eyes on me like heat on my skin. But I didn’t dare look at her yet, I didn’t want to push, or make her feel pressured. Everything she’d been through, everything she just remembered… it was a lot. Then I heard the soft rustle of clot

Lilith’s PovMy fingers moved on instinct as I approached the main door.I knew the code.I didn’t want to know it.I hated that I still remembered it.But when I punched it in, the door clicked. He hadn’t changed it.Of course he hadn’t.The door opened with a low groan, and I stepped inside, the smell of sandalwood and cedarwood clinging to the air like ghosts.Everything looked the same.Exactly the same.Too much the same. The sofa I once curled up on when I was crying. The table I once placed sketches on.The hallway I once walked down in.I felt like I was walking through a museum of my own heartbreak. Then I saw him.Nolan.He stood in the doorway of the living room, dressed in a sleek black shirt, a glass of wine in one hand, like he had been waiting—expecting—me.He smiled. That smile. The one that had once made me feel seen. Now, it just made my skin crawl.“To what do I owe this lovely surprise, my sweet love?” he asked smoothly. “Have you finally come to your senses and re
