Layla’s POV

“Kyle,” I called his name and he stopped at once, “Layla, good morning, didn’t know I will meet you here.” I notice he faked his smile and acted like he was all okay.

“I decided to make use of the bus, wow, the bus is here already, let’s go in.” I added and we took our seat together at the middle.

“I hope you slept well?” I acted like I never saw him getting slapped by the man I assumed to be his father.

“Yes I did, what about you?”

“Fine, so when will your car be fixed?”

“The mechanic told me It will be ready on Friday.” He replied.

“That’s great.” I kept mute not knowing what else to say to him so I just kept smiling and I noticed he was sending a text with his phone, it will be weird to ask him what happened with his father, I will give it time for him to get his self then during lunch I will ask him about it.

We arrived at work and just Daisy was around and Lisa hasn’t showed up yet, “Good morning Daisy.” I said with a smile and same with Kyle.
