Layla’s POV

“Layla.” Kyle called again and I got revived from my deep thought.

“Oh, it was a mistake, I meant to say Doctor Nate and I also work under him now so I thought since Daisy is coming, I was thinking he will come as well.”

“Yeah he should but you know he is a famous surgeon so it will be hard for him to create time to come see you, don’t be angry with him, I gave a weird excuse to be here,” He added.

What was I even thinking, there is no way Nate cares that he will come here but I am certain I saw Nate earlier, only one way to find out.

I tried standing up but Kyle stopped me saying, “You can’t leave now.”

“I know, I am bored of this inside view, I would love to sit at the pack and I am very okay now, it’s just a cut.” I assured him.

“But I am coming with you but let me get the nurse first.”

“Sure.” He took his leave and I quickly remove the drip connection as I rushed outside, I looked both left and right and found no one, I guess it’s just my imagination.
