Pain of a sister

Bathilda jerked back to consciousness and she split her eyes open to stare at the sky which was starting to clear gradually. She could still feel the sting of the blade cutting her but the wound was not deep, it was just enough to make her pass out as it was sudden. Realizing that so much time had pass, she raised her upper body to sit up and her eyes searched around frantically to the spot where she had seen Kathryn last. She could not find her there, but she could see the blood that had wasted on the ground. Her eyes moved a little further from the spot and lying still was a body which she recognized to be hers. She quickly got up, not minding the stabbing pain she felt as she dragged her feet as fast as she could towards her and she got on her knees beside her.
