Chapter 78

Lord Adonis and Audrey got back to the palace of ice and soul without saying a word to each other. Their journey back had been a silence one.

Each of them was lost in their own worlds trying to navigate their thoughts.

"Was it wise of me to have returned with him despite knowing he wants my heart?" Audrey found herself asking the same question over and over again. "He would have harmed me if he wanted to right?
