Lord Adonis walked into his chambers angry, his countenance was like a burning fury that could burn anyone at the slightest touch. He saw Audrey was still in the exact position he had left her but this time with a cut on her forehead, it wasn't there when prior to the time he had left his chamber but seeing that she was still on the same spot he had left her, he knew the cut must've been from the quake that took place earlier.

On noticing his presence, Audrey bowed her head to paid her homage. He walked pass her as though she was invincible and headed straight to his study room to have sometime to himself.
