While I was digging into the details of my sales and orders, the little monsters managed to explore my office inside and out. My collection of miniature models of the most expensive cars and motorcycles got the most attention.

“Hey, careful with that!” I look at the troublemakers who’ve already pulled a black Bugatti Veyron off the shelf. “One model like that can cost as much as all your toys combined.”

“We’re bored,” Egor whines, pouting. “When are we going to see your bike, Uncle Nazar?”

“Can we sit on it?” Andry perks up, staring at me expectantly.

“I wanna too!” the little one starts squeaking.

“I’ll see how you behave,” I try to tone down the bandits’ excitement. “Maybe I’ll allow it. It all depends on you.”

Like magic, the kids went quiet and turned into pure perfection. While I wrapped up my business, not one of them made a sound, all waiting to saddle the metal beast.

Childish gasps of awe and anticipatory sighs reached me when we stepped into the workshop, where my fiery steed stood apart from the rest. Their eyes widened and shone as they stared at that powerful masterpiece. I had to keep my promise and let the little destroyers climb onto my bike. It was hilarious watching them imitate engine roars and racing sounds, imagining themselves as bikers. Even Soli got swept up in the boyish hype and played racer. Feeling unexpectedly soft, I even snapped a few photos of them on my phone. I’ll have to send them to my brother and Vicky.

While the boys were spinning around and admiring my monster, I noticed Soli quickly lost interest and was standing there, all puffed up.

“Solomiya, what’s wrong?” I crouch down to her level, and she looks at me with a hurt expression.

“I’m hungry…” the little one whispers quietly, almost ashamed, and I suddenly want to smack myself on the forehead. We’ve been out so long, and it didn’t even occur to me that they might be hungry!

“Don’t be sad!” I smile at the cutie, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “We’re going to a pizzeria right now!”

“Yay!” I hear the boys cheer in support. “We’re hungry too!”

That settled it. Saying goodbye to my staff, we head to a local pizzeria near the huge city park. At this time of day, it’s packed with people walking around with their kids, and finding a table for us turns out to be no easy task. So we order our food to go instead. No big deal. An improvised picnic on a bench somewhere might be even more fun!

Grabbing our food and drinks, satisfied, we head for the exit. In the distance, I spot a remote empty bench and aim straight for it. But after taking a couple of steps, I don’t notice a girl about ten years old crashing into me. She bounces off painfully and lets out a groan.

“Oh! Sorry, kid! I didn’t see you at all,” I apologize to the little girl, and she lifts her miserable gray eyes to me, full of regret and guilt.

“I’m sorry,” she tucks her head into her shoulders. “I was hurrying to my mom and wasn’t looking around. I didn’t mean to…”

“Don’t apologize,” I smile at the distracted little blonde without malice, briefly noting her slightly messy appearance and worn-out clothes. “It can happen to anyone.”

“Sorry again…” lowering her eyes, the girl quickly disappears toward a small crowd of women.

Adjusting our food in my hands, I nod to the kids toward the bench, where we settle down. Judging by how fast they devour their slices, I realize they were seriously hungry, which makes me want to smack myself even harder.

But once they’re full, they catch a second wind and drag me to the nearest playground. And I’m good Uncle Nazar, after all. So I let my nephews and niece burn off some extra energy on the slides and swings.

While they go wild on the playground, I glance around, and my gaze freezes on one spot, unable to look away. On one of the benches sits a beautiful woman who somehow pulls me in and locks my attention on her. I can’t take my eyes off her.

Standing there like an idiot isn’t an option, and I’m not a shy guy. So I decide to walk over to the gorgeous stranger and get to know her better.

Damn… but I’ve lied so much… The main thing is not to make it worse. And later, when she grows attached to me, I’ll figure something out…“You know, there’s just one thing I’d like to clarify. A jealous husband or boyfriend isn’t going to jump out of the bushes right now intending to smash my face in, is he?” I approach the question indirectly, and the girl laughs.“And for what? People don’t just smash faces for no reason. We’re just walking to a kiosk, and with a bunch of kids, no less. No reason for jealousy,” two sly brown eyes look at me mockingly, skillfully dodging the answer.“Well…” I even get a little lost for words, which doesn’t happen often.“No, there’s no one,” the brunette finally decides to take pity on me, laughing. “I haven’t been in a relationship for a long time.”“Now that’s strange,” I look at the beauty cautiously. “How can a gorgeous woman like you not have a man around?”“Well… there are men who want to be around,” Ann breaks our eye contact and looks ahead i

When I introduced the girl to “my” kids, Ann called her son over, and he immediately ran up.“Everyone, this is Kirill,” the brunette says with a warm smile, looking at her son and ruffling his black hair.“Well, would you look at that,” I snort, studying the boy. “My brother’s name is the same!”And I immediately bite my lip. The main thing is not to let it slip that he’s my identical twin! Though why am I even stressing so much? Having a brother is a perfectly normal thing for people. The kid somehow looked at me suspiciously, with a narrowed gaze, and then shifted an annoyed look to his mother. I had the feeling he barely held himself back from rolling his eyes at us, and that made me tense up inside. So far everything had been going smoothly, and I don’t want this little runt to ruin the whole thing for me. And judging by his face, he’d love nothing more than to start sabotaging my conquest of his beautiful mother.Gathering our things and the kids, we head toward the nearest kios

Focus, Nazar. There’s a rescue operation going on here.I pull out a few wipes and gently clean the “injured” spot on Soli’s leg. She puts on a dramatic show, hissing and groaning, while the boys stand there, dark and silent, watching.“Miss, thank you so much!” Egor says dramatically. “Ever since our mom left us, Dad’s been a mess! He didn’t even bring basic wipes to the playground. And he has three kids! At this rate, he’ll forget one of us somewhere out of sheer distraction…”I shoot the little bastard a sharp look, silently telling him not to overact.“I’m not forgetting anyone,” I grumble, pulling Soli’s leggings back down. “See, sweetheart? There’s nothing serious there. You got more scared than hurt.”“It still hurts,” the little actress sniffles theatrically. “Dad… kiss my knee…”I look at this manipulator, and I’m completely powerless. Tears in her eyes, and the faintest sly smile on her lips. What a tiny fox.“Of course!” the brunette suddenly chimes in. “Didn’t you know tha

“Just so you know, the PlayStation’s disappearing before your parents get back! You’ll come over to my place and play there!” I lay down extra conditions for the little bastards. “They won’t allow it anyway, and I don’t need drama with your folks!”“Fine,” Egor snorts, giving me a serious look, and we shake hands to seal the deal.“There’s just one small issue,” Andry says, all business. “What are we doing about Mom?”“Which mom?” I don’t catch on right away.“Uncle Nazar,” those green eyes stare at me meaningfully, like don’t play dumb. “What are we telling that lady about our mom?”I look at them and realize they’re going to crush it in business one day. Iron grip, sharp minds, catching every detail.“Yeah, Mom…” I chew my lip, trying to cook up something believable. “You’ll say she left us all. Yeah. Moms come in all types. Ours just happened to be irresponsible. Soli, you understand what game we’re playing?” The boys I trust. The little one could accidentally blow the whole thing.

  • Deep Trouble With You   5 The Deal

The closer I got to the brunette who had me stirred up, the more details I noticed, and the harder I fixated on her captivating beauty. She was incredibly delicate, sensual, and… sweetly tempting. She was sitting alone on the bench, reading something on her phone. Seizing the moment, I sat down beside her, but I couldn’t tear my eyes away. Then she noticed someone next to her and our gazes met. “Damn,” I noted to myself, unable to handle the admiration and sudden rush of nerves. She wasn’t wearing any makeup at all, yet she was so naturally beautiful it made you want to just stare and admire her. Long, thick black lashes framed eyes of unbelievable depth and intensity, dark brown and piercing. Her lips were slightly full and naturally red, no lipstick either. A soft curve of perfect brows and long black hair like a raven’s wing. At the same time, her skin was fairly light and flawless. She reminded me of some dark-haired angel with a sweet doll-like face. So pure, so innocent, so b
