Indianna walked into school with Brooke, neither of them were in good moods today, but whereas it was obvious with Indianna, Brooke still tried to fake it and pretend she was fine.

I fell down the stairs- That was what Brooke was telling people if anyone asked why she had a black eye and her arm in the cast. I tripped and just fell, silly me, she was going to say.

Brooke had dark bags under her eyes, most of the people that lived in the pack house did. They had been kept awake the whole night by Brooke's screaming.

No one blamed her. She couldn't help her nightmares. She wasn't choosing to relive her darkest days.

Harry had been by Brooke's side the whole night. Comforting her when the nightmares finally woke her and calming her down.

Ace had gone to Greyson's room, limping slightly. His injuries were still healing. Greyson's room was where Indianna now slept, wrapped in one of his jumpers. She was wide awake, holding an envelope in her hand. Ace didn't question it when she hid it quickly under the pillow.

"Hey," he had said.

"Can't sleep?" Indianna asked, pushing her brown hair from her face.

Ace shook his head. "I wanted to ask you something," he said.

"Ask what?"

Ace took a deep breath. "Where is his grave?"

Indianna froze. Ace waited a few tense minutes before she turned to him. "It's not hard to miss," she said quietly. "It's in the back garden, under the oak tree."

"I wish I could have been there," Ace murmured. "At the funeral. I wish I could have seen him one last time."

"You wouldn't have wanted to see him," Indianna said, closing her eyes, trying to forget the last image she had of Greyson.

"I would, just one last look at my best friend-"

"No," Indianna said sharply. "Rogue... Rogue defiled him, Ace! He tore him to shreds! All that was left of Greyson was flesh and bones! You wouldn't have wanted to see him like that."

"But you did. You saw him like that."

"I didn't want to go," Indianna whispered. "As soon as I saw his body I fled. He was unrecognisable. I've not been to his grave since."

"I'm so sorry, Indie," Ace sighed. "I can't imagine what it's been like for you."

"I hope you never have to experience what I have. When you find your mate, you cherish her and love her more than you have ever loved anything in the world," Indianna said and looked up at Ace with teary eyes. "Promise me?"

"Of course," Ace promised.

"Indie!" Brooke said, breaking Indianna from her trance.

"S-sorry," Indianna said and shook her head. "I zoned."

"It's fine," Brooke smiled. "I'm sorry about last night. I feel awful for keeping everyone aw-"

"Don't," Indianna said. "No one blames you. We're just glad you're okay."

"I don't know if I ever will be," Brooke murmured. "Not really."

Indianna took Brooke's hand. "Neither do I."

"B-Brooke!" Brooke tensed when Brandon walked up to her, his eyes wide. Raiden, Tai's brother was by his side. "God, Brooke, what happened!"

Brooke took a step back from Brandon. "He happened," was all Brooke said before turning round and walking away, pulling Indianna with her.

They met everyone else at Kal's locker. Indianna smiled slightly when she saw Kal and Kimberly hand in hand.

Brooke walked over to Harry and lied when he asked if she was alright. He narrowed his eyes at her and shook his head.

Indianna leaned back against the lockers and her eyes looked across from her. The metal locker had a dent in it. Greyson had punched it once.

It was still unoccupied. It was still his locker.

Indianna looked to the locker on the left and saw Tai opening it. A flyer fell out of it and landed near Indianna, but Ace beat her to it when she went to pick it up.

"You dropped this," Ace said, walking up to Tai.

It was a flyer for a Christmas fair. Christmas was for celebrating, family and happiness.

Indianna didn't have much happiness in her life.

"Thanks," Tai muttered and snatched the flyer from Ace, scrunched it up and chucked it in her locker.

"Tai!" Brooke called. "This is Ace! He's been ill for a while, but he's better now."

"Barely," Harry muttered.

"You're the one who woke up," Tai said, repeating what was said the day before.

"I was in a coma," Ace explained.

"That's shit."

"Quite peaceful actually," Ace said. "It's nice to meet you, Tai."

"Is it?" Kimberly asked.

"Yes," Ace nodded. "Brooke tells me you have a brother."

"Yeah, a twin," Tai said, answering Ace's question before she could stop herself. She didn't tend to tell people much about herself. She coughed and shut her locker.

"He's friends with Brandon," Brooke said quietly.

Tai shrugged her shoulders and finally noticed Brooke's injuries. "What happened?"

"Fell down the stairs," Brooke lied, "silly me."

"That's not clever," Tai said.

"She's always been a clutz," Kal said. Kimberly rolled her eyes, and Indianna was surprised when she didn't make a comment. Kimberly opened her mouth, but took another look at Brooke with her cast and black eye and pressed her lips together, deciding on a not so nice look instead.

"Right, well, bye," Tai said.

"See you around?" Ace said as Tai turned.

"Yeah, sure, whatever," she shrugged and walked off.

"Rejected!" Kal sang.

"I need to touch her," Ace said suddenly.

"Woah there, I know you've been unconscious for a month and all, but I'm sure I can find a magazine that will calm your urges," Kal said quickly. "And a sock."

"You're disgusting," Kimberly muttered.

"No, I..." Ace sighed. "Never mind."

Indianna forced a smile. "I would never."Greyson chuckled. "Are you not eating any more, sugar?"Indianna stared down at the food on her plate, feeling full. She had taken a lot more food than she could manage to consume. She shook her head.Greyson turned to his sister. "Has she actually eaten a decent breakfast?""Greyson, I've eaten!" Indianna argued.Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Trust your mate, you dick. She ate enough for a whole family.""Great. In that case." Greyson took Indianna's plate from her and sat down between the two girls, tucking into the remains of Indianna's breakfast."We better get organised," Mac said, running his hand along Kirstie's thigh. "We gotta a lot of men to get today.""No rest for the wicked," Kirstie sighed and jumped up from the floor. "Let's go tear down Rogue's empire, lover."Mac chuckled and let Kirstie pull him up from the floor. "Let's do this.""You know," Oscar said, furrowing his eyebrows as he stood up with Kirstie and Max , "you'd think th

DAY ONEIndianna was woken by Kal's snores, they were soft, but she had been struggling to sleep the whole night and now all she could focus on was Kal's heavy breathing. She sighed and turned over, trying to get comfortable which was rather hard with her bump. She was now looking at Greyson as he slept. He seemed so peaceful. His face was so calm and serene, she wished that he didn't have to wake up to the hell they were in.Greyson's eye twitched and Indianna knew that he was no longer asleep. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his chest, resting his chin on her head and one hand on her stomach. *It's early, sugar, you should be asleep, not perving on me while I sleep.*Indianna chuckled slightly. *Sleep doesn't come easily these days.**Try,* Greyson pleaded. *It's 2am. You need your rest.**So do you.**I'm fine. I'm swapping watch duty with Oscar soon anyway.*The rest of the previous day was spent waiting anxiously for Oscar, Kirstie and Mac to ret

"Please don't call yourself that," Indianna said."It's true. I can't be trusted-""Would a monster feel remorse?" Indianna asked, cutting Tai off. "Do you think Rogue feels remorse over his actions?""That is different-""You are not a monster, Tai," Indianna insisted. "You didn't do what you did on purpose. As you said, you lost control. What happened has happened, it can't be taken back. The only thing we can do now is focus on the present. Tai, will you help us now?"It was a few moments before Tai acknowledged that Indianna had spoken. She pursed her lips and gave one sharp nod. "I need to wash this blood off of me," she said and turned on her heel and disappeared into Indianna's room.Indianna made her way to Greyson's room next. The scent of him surrounded her when she entered and she closed her eyes, caressing her bump. She didn't want to go without him. Indianna swallowed the lump in her throat and changed out of the clothes she had been wearing for dinner. Once she was in sw

"If I'd have known that talking to Brooklyn would change your mind then I would have suggested you do that as soon as you started to disagree with me."Indianna scowled at Greyson who smirked at her as she approached him. "Shut up."Greyson reached out and took Indianna's hand, pulling her towards him. "Thank you," he murmured."I'm still annoyed," Indianna grumbled and looked down at her feet, glaring."Hey." Greyson took Indianna's chin and tilted her head up. "Please don't be. You're keeping yourself and our children safe. That's the most important thing. Don't scowl at me, sugar.""You're important."Greyson smiled and kissed Indianna's forehead affectionately. "God, I love you, woman."Karl suddenly yelled from across the room. "They're here! Fucking hell, you took your time, lads! It's not like we're waiting for a psychopath to come and kill us or anything!""You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" Harry groaned, but made his way over to where Kal was now standing, over t

"Just me," Greyson croaked. "You know it's the smart thing to do. There's no point in slaughtering a whole pack.""You think I care about how many people I have control over? Do you think I care about that when my mate is lying dead in my arms!" Rogue roared. He threw Greyson to the side, kicking him onto the floor. "You will all die! I will kill you all for what you have done. None of you will live to see next week." Rogue looked down at Stacey and brushed her hair away from his face, smiling down at her. "Everything I will do to this pack will be for you, my love," he whispered. "I promise, I will make them suffer." He then walked towards the woods, not looking back at the pack. "If any of them try to leave, break their legs! I want them alive, for now!" Was the last thing Rogue said to his men before he disappeared. The rest of his men remained, but they retreated into the trees, out of sight, still there, but watching. The silence that followed next was deafening. No one said a wo

Nothing she could possibly say would help."Your pack killed my mate. SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. OF YOUR PACK! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!" His yells echoed in the woods surrounding them. "You..." He whispered. "You are going to pay."Indianna was too stunned to speak. She was vaguely aware of Greyson putting himself between her and Rogue, but that didn't stop Indianna from staring at her brother who looked ferocious. His eyes were dark, teeth bared, face red and he was spitting blood when he spoke. "You, little sister, are going to suffer. Your pathetic mate can't protect you. Your pack. No one. You are no different from our parents. I thought I could change you. Make you into a version of yourself that I could be proud of. Oh, how I was wrong.""J-Jason," Indianna stuttered, her words barely audible. "I didn't want this to happen-""I don't want your fake pity!" He roared and Indianna flinched. "I don't want lies! I want revenge!"*Sugar, you know I will die before I let him get to you.*H
