CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED & TWENTY-FIVE

Diana

SHE FELT HERSELF falling in space, free-living and weightless. She kept on floating with her eyes closed in the dark, letting the breeze take her to wherever.

Suddenly, her body stopped moving and it was no longer dark, as light beams tried to get past her closed eyes.

Diana opened her eyes and then her feet finally touched the ground. After her eyes had adjusted to the light, Diana took in her surroundings.

"What the heck?!" Diana blurted out. She was surprised to see that she was now standing in the middle of mirrors.

The room had mirrors on the walls, the roof and the floor. Diana was a bit creeped out by numerous reflections of her, all staring at her.

"I had imagined the afterlife to be less creepy," Diana muttered to herself, trying to look away from her reflections, only to stare at another each time she turned her face.

"That is because you are not in the afterlife, Diana," she heard a voice say.

"Who said that?!" Diana asked, looking around but finding no
