Some Surprises

     By the time I got out of that shit hole desert, and walked to the hotel, the sun had already gunned down. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened.

It felt like the end of something, and the begining of another. Jacques was gone, and I was unfortunately, finally alone in this big bad world, a bad world that I myself contributed to.

Life hasn't been easy since I was a kid, but that was a story for another day. 

     I walked slothfully pass the guests and the bartender over the bar at the hotel, and retreated into my room. 

     "I hate this world" I muttered to myself, while my hands took on the task of removing the dirty clothes and dumping it into the waste basket. 

      I threw myself on the bed half naked. Bathing was far from my brain's thinking area.
