Chapter 14

“Miss Lemuel! Come, have a seat with us.” I smiled timidly when Sir Gregory welcomed me to their headquarters that evening.

It was already around 6 pm, and it was already dark outside. Students were also starting to head out of the campus, yet here I am, still having an org meeting with the Campus Journals. I was already invited last year, but I declined it due to a conflict of schedule with the Student Council. I didn’t even tell mom about that offer because I know she will push me to take it, just like how she made me do this. Gosh,

I heaved a sigh and nodded my head before walking towards the empty seat in front. The chairs' setting was in horseshoe position, so it was like a conference table except that it’s not totally oblong, but a ‘u’ shaped table. Sir Gregory was standing right in front of us.
