“It’s your husband,” he whispered, frantically looking around to make sure no one was to hear us. “What about him?” I asked, confused at that point because it could mean anything.

“Please ma’am, I wouldn’t want to lose my job here but then I don’t want to watch you suffer forever,” he pleaded and a thousand and one things started running through my mind. “Did my husband ask you to kill me?!” I snapped, raising my voice while he rushed to cover my mouth with his hands

“Shhh,” he hushed me and I kept mute. “What’s going on?” I whispered back to him and he hesitated a moment before telling me what the problem was.

“He paid me to do the opposite surgery. He wants me to take away your memory forever so you will have no knowledge of your past that you don’t already remember,” he said and I gasped. “How’s that possible? Rick would never do that,” I refused to believe that my husband would do that to me.
